  1. Thanks, must have been loads as cambers quite a size when tide is out.
  2. Been looking can't find the info i need, so i've asked here. Low tide time and wind speed for 29/08/05. thanks
  3. Are the 'locals' who used to go to Stopsley in the summer of 2003 still going there, the likes of Charlie, Matt, Adrian, Ian, Chris, Eddie, Paul and others used to be 10-15 regulars most weekends and a good few in the evenings in the week, hi all if your 'listening' its Marcus by the way and i've moved back to Luton, but my gear is still all in Cambridge!!
  4. I wanted a secure way of buggy transport to, the bike rack I had never fitted right, got some Thule roof bars and then had a local fabricator make a bracket, only took them a hour so you could get one done before Friday!! Pics below, sorry about quality, taken with camera phone. http://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/bracket_close_up1.jpghttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/Flexi_on_car_full1.jpghttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/thFlexi_close_up1.jpg
  5. Nice gratuitous nut shots!!
  6. All very well putting the buggy in the boot, but when you have to carry a 'mobile' office in boot including a photocopier its to much of a pain to clean it out and when your finished having to put it all back in again!! So thats why mines on the roof!!
  7. Blue ice, here's the pictures of my roof rack flexi holder, apologies for the quality had to use my phone as I can't seem to find my camera. Regardshttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/Flexi_on_car_full.jpghttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/Flexi_close_up.jpghttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/bracket_close_up.jpghttp://img71.photobucket.com/albums/v215/sucramuk/Bolt_thru.jpg
  8. I had problems with bike rack, fits perfect with the flexi buggy and used to fit really good on my old company car, went all the way to Pendine with the buggy on the bikerack without any worries. But for some reason the rack fitted to my new car seems to want to fall off, don't like traveling 10mins up the road when its on, let alone 200 miles + on a motorway. So..... I got a bracket made up at a local fabricators that bolts to my roof rack, turn the buggy upside down, the centre strut of the flexi buggy sits in the fabricated 'cradle' with a hole in it and is bolted through the mount, lash the 2 side bars and i'm done, doesn't go anywhere now!! Want to see a pic?
  9. Is this club still active, after seeing another thread in the forum relating to the club I sent a email to them on the 15th April asking a few more details, as of yet I've still received nothing, anyone here a member of the club?
  10. Are there any good beaches in the Stalham area which I believe is near Gt Yarmouth that are worth buggying on, found some cheap accomodation there but don't know about the beaches. Help us out guys please!
  11. Car is packed at long last, must get that roof rack sorted!! Going to leave 7.30ish, I guess I shouldn't drink to much tonight!! See you all tomorrow.
  12. How's the weather and wind looking for Sunday then, need to know in advance got to start clearing the boot of the car of boring work stuff now!!
  13. Thanks all for the input. The car by the way is a Primera (junk I know), well I've got a roof rack sorted and have now found a welder, soon I shall have a custom made flexi holder, anyone want to see the pics when done?
  14. Hi, Doe's anyone have any suggestions regarding carrying my Flexi Buggy on a roof rack, without or with wheels. Has anyone made one, I guess it would be simple if you were a welder to weld 2 spigots to pick up the rear axle and a higher one for the front. Well I'm not a welder so I can't do that, I already have a cycle carrier for the back, but it doe's not seem to fit right and I would not trust it on a long motorway journey. Tow bar mounts look good but can't use that as its a company car and they wouldn't be happy with a tow bar on it. Clearing the boot isn't an option i'd be knackered by the time I took my paperwork, photocopier etc out the boot!! Any suggestions?
  15. Hi, I'm in Cambridge maybe looking at coming up on Sunday, someone give me an idea where the 'buggy'beach is in Mablethorpe. I guess 'newcomers' are welcome!!
