    hi, havnt had a good day of wind in ages! but looking alrite today at last. weather permitting i will b heading up to Tinsill top on friday @ 12.00. will gladly let ne 1 have a go on my kites. well, cya l8r, hav a good new yr. AL:D

    hi guys!! havnt been on the forum in a while. thought id give it a go and try to revive the leeds thread. not been out flying in ages due to lack of wind:(, wot about every 1 else? has ne 1 found ne new spots to fly? is every 1 still heading out to redcar etc coz would like to go back out there....just need a lift:). ne ways cya AL:D

    hi guys just got back from my holiday in cyprus:D, unfortunately there wasnt ne beaches to fly @ but a least it was a lot hotter over there than the UK:). ne 1 off out this weekend? if weather is good ill b heading up 2 tinsill top on saturday bout 1.00ish AL:D

    hi jossy, yeh i go to rths. im up 4 going to the field on wednesday if weather good. i'll try find u in skool, i heard the name jossy b4, or just go to the 6th form room and ask 4 alan. btw nice kites, i used to have a 2.1 ld, amazing kite!!!!

    hi, i fly there q often. not seen many ppl go there to fly their kites apart from the odd super 10. i live about 300 mertres away from the field. as far as i know there are no restrictions @ all. it's a good field and the big tower beside it is the highest point in leeds so it must get some good winds. i'll prob b up there this saturday if the wind ok.

    last yr was flying my 4.9, wind was crap, had to run back to get the kite back in the air, only ran back and fell into a tractor tyre. ass hurt

    im also looking for a board. went to my local kite shop and they told me that if i get a scrub lion canyon £99 i can then update it l8r on with a trampa deck once i get some experience with the scrub lion canyon. the scrub lc also seems to b good as it is small and light which is good 4 kiteing. ne thoughts on getting the scrub lc as a 1st board?

    i've got a pair of trail skates 4 £100. good points 4 me is that they were cheap and go damn fast and feel solid. bad points are that they can give really bad cramp, ur m8's are unlikely to use em unless same shoe size as u, not very easy to stop, and u cant bail like u can on a m'board. to b honest id prefer a m'board but at the time the blades were cheaper
