  1. As it didn't sell first time around, Tim has started the auction again with a new lower starting price of £100, which you'd have to agree would be a great price to pick up a brand new kite of this quality.. [/url]6m Fury (new listing)
  2. Thanks Jon, I'll pass on the thoughts to Tim, TBH it was my idea to start at £150 as I thought £100 off a brand new kite would attract some response, I think Tim said that if it doesn't sell he gets a second listing free so keep watching to grab the bargain...
  3. Mid afternoon "good cause" bump..

  10. I almost had a heart attack when I saw this thread had re-surfaced AGAIN !!! But as Timmer (as he's now known..lol) says, don't forget the Royston Kite festival this weekend on Sunday at the Heath just to the West of the town. There's also a page about it in the Flexi news section http://community.flexifoil.com/showthread.php?t=125686
  11. Pop up tent

I've the the Quecha 2 second tent which is great and pretty easy to put away and have now also got a couple of the 0 second £18 ones which I find much better on the beach as the opening is more beach shelter size which allows more people to huddle in the door when it starts raining, but it does seem a bit harder to put away and seems to require a "leap of faith" when you start collapsing the rings down to half size..
  14. thats the boat from the film "the Island" http://www.wally.com/jumpCh.asp?idUser=0&idChannel=44&idLang=IT
  15. I can get off the ground some of the time just need lots more practice at everything still.. Buts it's a good idea to use one of Uncles seat belts when you do jump..lol
  16. Ok I'm here in the shed... now what ?? you know this is the last of the Belts EVER !! so there's nothing to do but tidy the place up now and put away the old lady costume...
  17. Maybe we should call them "Skydudes Buggy Belts" and see if that helps the last few sell..lol pm me or Uncle or follow the instuctions on the webpage he posted
  18. I thought the few of us that subscribe where supposed to get it first.. but then again it usually arrives on a Saturday so I'll mug the postie on the way out in the morning (but as they've been on strike today I guess it might be monday!!)
  19. As I understood it you can be insured twice or more for the same thing but are only allowed to claim against one of them for an incident.. But thats just what I've read on here over the past few years.. Why not do a search on insurance and see if you get any hits...lol
  20. Hi dude, sorry I wasn't there to say hello. the SWARM as we know them are an annual occurance and are called Cockchaffers or Maybugs.. totally harmless unless they scare you into falling off your Board or flipping your Buggy..lol A badminton racket is a useful addition to the kite bag this time of year.. Come and have a look at our website and forum by clicking the link in my signature. See ya soon.
  21. My cat only brings in one or two catches a night, trouble is most of the time they are alive and completely well. It's then my job to try and catch them and relocate them to the field behind the house.. I've got a complete set of different size tupperware for different sized mammals. Last night I was chasing a wood mouse around my dining room who was a particularly good jumper, was jumping approx a foot straight up... Anyway now it's back with its family living in fear of Maisie the monster..lol
  22. [Homer voice] Dough! [/Homer]
  23. ....and I flew the actual kite from the article last Thursday.. Jezz is very happy with his purchase Noserider especially as he's actually flown it properly for the first time last Thursday as well..lol
  24. I think Cambridge or atleast subscribing to this thread must have a pre-requisite that you will have an accident sooner or later.. My worst wipeout was on Coldhams a couple of years back... Hope the two of you recover soon and you as well Jetset..
  25. I've flown this kite and know thats it's a good'n as is Jezz. and ready to fly this is indeed a steal...
