I am not having a go as I really appreciate what the BBC are doing and I agree that if it wasn't for Mell and the admin MW probably would not have happened this year. It is just that according to the BBC the cut off date is this next week and I just wanted to make sure the applications are in as there are many names not on the list.

Yes I did notice and wondered, I think it could be a mistake. Iam still not on the list, I wonder if there is any way we can at least find out if our application have at least been received.

JC_05 and I were up the heath this afternoon. It was the first time I have had the kites out since Hunstanton, so it was a good to get the sand out and untangle the blade.

Gwithian near St Ives is a good beach. It has been a few years since we were down there so I don't know if there are any restrictions now, but people were buggying on it when we were there.

I think the firebees are great. Started with a 3m which pulls like train in a good wind, I have just got a 5.5m which in even next to no wind last night was pulling well. Haven't dared to try it in a higher wind yet until I really get used to it. Try http://www.windseekers.co.uk for a good price.
