  1. Just try different pressures yourself and use what you like. You may want higher pressures on soft ground & less on hard ground. Tazz
  2. Hey Muttly The ATV tires are they stardard tires sold at a bike shop? Do you find that the buggy loses stability when raised up that much more? Tazz
  3. Mick I,m in Atlantic Canada. I agree about the Ekko 2.2 I think it do'es have a turbo!! tazz Ekko 2.2 Skytiger Hi-40 Bronto2 5m PL. Comp. Buggy Bronto2 3m on order Q-harness very painfull.
  4. MICK I see you have a Elliot Ekko 2.2m I just picked one up the other day to replace a skytiger that I sold. I find it to be a very fast & hard pulling kite. Had it out on snow skis worked great in a high wind even pulled of a couple of 6' jumps with it. Just interested to here if you like yours. This is the first Ekko I have ever used or seen in my area. Favorite Kite

I live on a Island with approx 140,000 people & I have never seen anyone but myself traction flying. I,ve been traction flying for 9 months. I fly intermediate kites so far. My ? is , are race kites that much better for alround flying or are they only good for racing? So far I like my intermediate foils or is it that people get board with the intermediate & want something more? Atlantic Canada Tazz
  8. I used a Quadrifoil strop at first with my first 2 foils. My 3rd foil came with a built on strop it was made with a permanent 5/16" high quality rope. this works excellent. I changed my 2 existing kites to this style. Just remove your power leader line from you handles, drill the handle hole large enough to hold the 5/16 rope. ( If not big enough already.) Install a Knot in front & behind on one handle & leave aprox 20" slack rope than another knot then through the other handle and a knot on the front side. ( keep your knots as close as possible to your handles)leave enough leader rope on each handle to match the length of leader that you removed. Put a knot in your new 5/16 leaders to overhand knot your power lines to. Depending on your arm length And harness type you may want your strop length to be changed. Hope you understand this. Tazz

    Harnesses??

The Q- harness can be a ball crusher some days. Not bad in the buggy. Only harness I ever had.
  11. I used both training sites that Chris-Aer had mentioned, they worked well for me. I,m the only buggyer in my area had to teach myself. ps--- had a few wild rides at first!!!!

What is the top speed that you guys have reached? With what kite & buggy?
  13. I'll have to see if there is a supplier of the Da Kine harness in my area. It sound like I should check it out.
  14. I would like to hook up a speedometer on my buggy. Is there a special one for a buggy or can a bicycle speedometer be mounted? All info welcome
