  1. Ok any other recommendations, I live in Surrey; how about the Brighton area?
  2. Anyone used FCWatersports Academy in Poole for lessons, any good? I been out of the kiting world for a while so im a bit out of touch
  3. Im just gonna lurk now!
  4. I got a 2.1 LD which is awsome in higher winds, you can really work them buggers! My best runs in a buggy have been with my 2.1!
  5. Damn, that ruined my grand entrance
  6. I took a break for a while, sold my Libra Special and Razors (due to transport limitations never used em). I got a car now and work down at Hastings (less than 1/2 an hour from Camber) and so ran out and bought a flexdeck yesterday! I only have a 2.1m Little Devil at the moment but to be honest some of my best runs in the buggy were with that kite (I love working it). Hopefully the wind will play ball when all the happy campers go home!!!
  7. Ah yes, Perranporth is a very different story!
  8. I think you will find Porth is too narrow and sheltered for buggying. I may be wrong - let me know how you get on!
  9. I cant recommend the 2.1m LD highly enough it has the extra stabillity required on those strong and gusty days. I think a 2.1 LD and a 3.5 Razor is a better combination, but then I would
  10. A ruler will work, the circumference is pi times the diameter! Sit in the buggy and get someone to measure from the center of the wheel to the floor and times that by 6.28. Allthough the method you describe is easier and you dont need a calculator
  11. Ozone kites are by their own admission over engineered, they boast that they build their kites to the same standard as their paragliders!
  12. looking at your kit I assume its for buggying? Anything will be better than a large blade, they have too much lift! I would recommend a Little Devil if you want an easy ride or a Razor if you want a rewarding and fast ride. There are many other options too: Libra Bora, Airea Raptor and PKD Century to name a few.
  13. I havent seen a Bullet yet but I doubt it will be built as well as the LD, I may be wrong! Ozone kit rocks :¬D
  14. If your looking for easy to fly, the Predator is probably the way to go, ive heard that Bora's can be a bit of a pain!?!
  15. Libra all the way, you only need to look at them side by side and you will see why!
  16. TOTEK have them advertised for £273 LOOK HERE
  17. Thanks guys, I think ill be sticking to Ozone, tried and tested and all that! Just dont know whether a Frenzy will be a better long term investment than the Razor, allthough buggying is my main pastime the Frenzy may let me dip my toe in the water as it were
  18. Hey im open to other suggestions, is the Frenzy a viable option, im interested in trying some surfing too will the Frenzy be the jack of all trades im after?
  19. Hi guys im after some advice again, im looking to get a new buggy engine for the summer and cant make my mind up. I allready have a 2.1LD which is superb by the way and a 3m Bee which is fine but I wont be buying another one after flying my LD! I cant choose between another LD a Razor or a Libra Bora, is the Bullet worth considering? And what size would you guys recommend im thinking 5-6m or should I go bigger?
