  1. sold this a while back. forgot to update thread.
  2. as per request, some photos (couldnt figure out how to attach multiple, so i stuck them all in the same image) as stated earlier, kite itself is in near new condition. no damage, clean and crisp. used very few times. bar has some foam scraped off a bit (i think from the when the quick release scrapes against the bar). not a big issue though. its only at the bottom in the middle, not where your hands go. (could only unfold the kite halfway. not enough room inside, and raining outside)
  3. pricedrop $250
  4. any takers for $400 ?
  5. **SOLD** Selling my 14m Neo 2, as unfortunately its just sitting around depreciating in value. Started a new job not long after buying it and have very little time for kiting now. It was only flown a few times (only test flights on land) and been in storage since. Kite is in great condition, no damage. Bar has some of the foam grip coming off, otherwise everything is in great condition. Comes with bag, bar, lines, all booklets, etc. $500 + postage, or make an offer. Any questions, ask away.

  14. yeah, i like jumping with the board. i can do a 180 while still, which isnt very impressive, but i think its cool. (doing it while moving is probably more impressive) the road i go down is extremely convex. so if i start on an angle, well... i'll start rolling off the edge of the road. where i start is relatively flat, so i just kick-off, slowly roll forward, or walk down a bit to where its steeper.

  16. yeah, i didnt mind it, but it wasnt as good as i was expecting missed the end because i switched over to "An Idiot Abroad" which was quite good.
  17. Well i tried some new methods: plummet: i have no idea how to do the backfoot on board, frontfoot kick-off like you said (not without the board slipping out or staying still :s) SoutherlyBuster: i tried your idea of front foot in at an angle, kick off toeside, and.... thanks! much easier IMO than heelside, and my backfoot snags the back wheel about 90% less. practising it a lot and its going well. i have also learned im goofy-footed. riding rightfoot forward just seems more natural and less tense. i can also cope better with speed wobbles rightfoot forward
  18. lol i misread the title as "No Wind Genocide"
  19. good graphics is a must, but then everyone's taste is different
  20. ok, will give that a try the guide i posted above only mentioned front foot in the strap, kick off with back foot (either toeside or heelside) i also found it much easier, like they said, to put the back foot on the middle of the board, rather than in the back footstrap after kicking off. then shift it to the strap once momentum/balance is gained also, does it work better to have the non-kick-off foot completely locked in (perpendicular to the board) or on an angle?
  21. and the more painful when i stuff up thanks for that. i was wondering how different the two were thanks for the idea will have to try it now
  22. yeah, for me its dirt or nothing... closest skate park is too far away, all ive really got is the small hill by the house, and the varying grades of dirt make powersliding a chore... also, do you toeside or heelside kick off? im finding heelside a little easier. cant wait till the wind comes back this week, then i can kite a bit more, then practice the two together again.
  23. yeah, most of it im right with, and am a bit beyond beginner, but thought i'd look up the proper way to do it. turns out one thing i was doing wrong was leaning my whole body to steer instead of "thrusting" the hips, as i would call it wrist guards i never bothered getting. just wore an old pair of gloves, and they do the job fine. having a bit of trouble with the kick-offs, as my big feet get in the way of the rear wheel... powerslides can be a bit painful when the ground had more of less friction that im expecting... all in all, its still something enjoyable and worthwhile to do when the wind is missing
  24. So since the wind has been MIA for the past week or two around here, i've been trying to hone up my mountainboarding skills. I am using this series of pages as a guide for learning good habits for the basics http://www.mountainboarding.uk.com/lear ... rding.html was wondering if anyone agrees/disagrees with what they are saying, or any other tips people have. Advanced thanks for any input
  25. that must be the rain that hit here in SA yesterday, for a limited time only, it comes with a free week of no wind :/
