  1. Damn, well I guess i'll have to stretch then, should get paid some tomorrow so I should be able to afford the full ask. If you pm me with how you want payment or just email me on matthorton@live.com it would be awesome. Thanks mate, Matt
  2. Damn man that's some £100 postage on top not including insurance!, though i suppose its still cheaper than buying new!
  3. ok, any chance you would do the bar for £80 on the 23m lines? found a bar but its put me a bit out of pocket. damn slingshot spares!
  4. Damn, well I might still get it if I manage to find a spare 20" bar somewhere cheers.
  5. what size is the slingshot bar? after a bigger one for a while.
  6. I wouldn't go for vinyl as it will peel way too easily, there are iron on t-shirt graphic printable sheets you could use that go on with a very low heat, if you iron it on REALLY low with a protective cover it should be ok, better to try a test patch where it wont matter as much first though. apart from that i'm not really sure, stencils and a polymer spraypaint? you're right you might find some stencils on ebay but they might not be to your liking, most stencils tend to turn out "blocky". keep in mind if you spray anything with a petroleum base it may damage your kite's coating. you'll probably need a primer to stop any ink running, but hairspray should do the job for that. I don't really know how you would go about printing a kite since the only experiences ive had are with art and design and a little graphics, but nothing printed on ripstop.
  7. if anyone is tripping from south leeds to cleethorpes regularly give me a PM, would love to hitch a ride since its terrible to get there on trains.
  8. if you can manage to get to leeds i could show you a few things. heath is kind of hard to get to for me, but still could be possible. QEGS fields are terrible for kiting because of the powerlines/trees/houses nearby so i wouldn't recommend it. I've got a 17 yr old brother that might be able to meet you up on heath common sometime through the holidays. i work at the moment so it would be kinda hard.
  9. around weston-super-mare it should pick up around the back end of this week, sunday looks to be 15k+ and fri/sat dont look too bad. ill be out the sunday/mon i reckon.
  10. no way... i got mayfair a couple days ago and threw it thinking that was the common one... pishd...
  11. if you sell it KO then i'd be interested in the bar... PM me
  12. dont suppose this is still for sale?
  13. would be interested in the bar, need a longer one for my biggie. still there?
  14. the slingshot bar still up? if so what size/year?
  15. yeah that was me unfortunately. the guys i was with wanted a go (said they'd flown before), so i took it up to prove a point. not letting them fly in that kind of wind. that guy was my flatmate with my board too. again too windy to get that going, so we just went to the pub.
  16. awesome board. thanks man, ill be loving it!
  17. hey an would love some pics of the 9, matthorton@live.com
  18. i was up at roundhay yesterday but it turned out to be a bit too windy. wish i still had my 3.3, would have been a blast. ill be up at roundhay again tomorrow (sat) hoping for a little less so i can take out my RRD. see you there
  19. if its still up could you send me a few pics, matthorton@live.com thanks
  20. out and about somewhere this weekend, might trek down to rother valley since theres a nice forecast there or just head or might just head up to roundhay. anyone about?
  21. Only been up to roundhay once i think, recently moved to Leeds so I'll be up there more I tend to hang out on Heath or the football fields near osset just off the motorway. Bugging is awesome In NE winds Since you can get a full run of the Heath, same for boarding really. but it's a rare occurrence. Most of the time you're restricted by space unless you go the other side of the trees, then you might get grief from the model fliers. Most of the time the wind acts a bit wierd too, you get a lot of lift but not so much power for traction because of the hills around it. If you decide to go around Leeds later this week give me a shout, just got a 12m RRD I'd like to try out before I take it on the water.
  22. Been using that green since about 2001 and never had a problem, the only time you might get trouble is when the pikeys co E round to check the horses, it does tend to freak the younger ones, the older ones are used to it nowadays.
  23. hey there, this still available?
  24. Hey there, im interested in the board, could you give me an email? matthorton@live.com thanks man
