Thanks for the advice, I understand the last question is vague and is to just give me an idea if people did not like there kite setup when learning to back roll. The question is just to give me an idea if people liked there setup, hence if they put no I would understand that there options may not be relevant. This is just initial research for basic ideas is not going into any detail so data is just to show me where to research information as too why majority of people have a kite size or bar length. Hi I'm basing my school Extended Project Qualification on kite surfing and the best possible rig for a intermediate kite surfer to learn to back roll. First time on my new north gonzales bought it brand new and towards the end of my session, the handle split!! The screws havent come out it has just split. Has any1 else had this problem? :{

It all depends on your ability I have just started and am using a 7m lei from 10 knots up but I am very ameture if you are good at kite surfing you'll now about kite control which should help. I am just starting kitesurfing my self and loving the landboarding.

I have already got two meter kite 3m and 4m just getting 7m and 12m with board so thinking about getting lessons wich were in hours so wasn't sure how long but also thinking about dvd how much is it?

How many hours should I have to learn to kitesurf I want to be able to start doing jumps even little ones at the end. How long should I have?
