  1. I'd recommend you check out the DS "Sleight of Hand" video series ... what this boy make the Deepspace do is incredible, I look at this maniaco of the tricks and it is so nice.
  2. Out of curiosity, how do all those forecasts compare to the EK ones Nigel? While the EK weather service looks pretty nice, all these discrepencies that've come to light recently are little bit of a worry for us wind hunters.
  3. Judging by its appearance, I'd say 600 rump steaks and 20kg of mince!
  4. @ Nigel: If a kite buggier is a "land-crab" and a kite surfer a "tea-bag", what's the nickname for a guy who flies 2-line freestyle kites? K
  5. I'm thinking Masque ... any thoughts?
  6. Nock Ends APA Nocks for wing tips $1.50
  7. Hey man, cool video as per usual A real elegant effort - and let me tell you, elegance in freestyle is very important to me! Thanks for sharing!
  8. L'Atelier looked to produce some of the most elegant kites of all - and let me tell you, elegance is very important to me!
  9. Insync, $179.00 Designed by Bell Chiu, manufactured by Flying Wings.
  10. Hi all, I'm a good friend of Cesium's with some potential interest in kiting, and as he mentioned EK I thought I'd join up and see whats happening. Been lurking for a while, but thought with this new comp I'd post My question is I suppose, if you had to buy one kite to learn and freestyle with, what would it be? Cheers, K
  11. The GI Bomber, which apparently is: "A LIGHT-WEIGHT, TIGHT LIL’ PACKAGE."
  12. Oh my. I had the pleasure (and there were a lot of lolz to be had) of reading your Mumbai kiting festival report in the March 2008 Qld Kite Flyers Society Newsletter. Its cool to think that flying kites in a totally pedestrian fashion can turn you into an Elvis Presley sized celebrity - reviewing Indian police on parade, chatting with billionaires and getting endless applause from all and sunder. Thanks for that uplifting story, it really put a smile on my face. P.S. I really think you should also seek serious professional help regarding the state of your obviously scrambled brain. I think there are quite a few pharmaceutical options available these days to treat people who've got serious mental problems involving delusions, so don't despair! Another option might be: http://www.hypnotherapy-nlp-help.com/co ... -help.html I hear hypnotherapy can work wonders! Hope it helps, Cheers! OK guys - I know we all have various views and opinions on this thread (myself included) - but let's make sure we don't spiral this conversation down into personal attacks on each other.... (Mod).
