  1. I use a linksys router and linksys printer server to share printer with all computers. Works great, is quick, holds connection and allows for Back To My Mac via UPNP on the router. Been running Mac for 2 years now and would never look back. Use a Mac Pro Quad Core Intel Zeon 2.66ghz with 6gb of ram for main computer, and have a macbook std for out of office/on road stuff. If you can get hold of a USB hard drive or NAS drive (network hard drive) then you can back up via time machine to this. Worth while if you are doing work as if you make an error or accidentally remove part of a file then you can go back hour by hour to restore the work. Great from my point of view as a web designer.
  2. Indeed, will be there this weekend.
  3. You have to move them into the bookmarks toolbar menu in the same menu as the Bookmarks. Best thing to do is set downloads from Firefox to goto the downloads folder, this keeps desktop less clutered. Have a look at this movie as explains alot about it http://www.apple.com/uk/getamac/whymac/ & http://www.apple.com/uk/macosx/guidedtour/
  4. We tried it out and it was horrible. Ok we did do it with a 4.0 in 30mphish winds so prob not best but as it was pulling from top-center of buggy it kept wanting to flip buggy over and it was very hard to resist this as when you shifted weight over you were actually giving into it. Also the weight is not equal in the buggy to work 100%, the buggy weight & then your body weight which will then be hanging from buggy adds in other problems. Also the seat belt will pull both siderails in together as you full weight & buggy will be handing off it adding around 100kg of mass & with a shock load of 3 that puts 300kg of pressure through siderails. It did not give enough feedback and also made the handles that little too far away from your body. IF you are new to buggy jumping DO not use this method, we were shocked at how little control it gave us and we have been buggy jumping for many years. The best option is to have a QR on seatbelt, and one on your harness. If you flip buggy its quite easy to get to handles and pull brakes on, do this and hold tight till the kite comes down. Then go for your seatbelt QR to get buggy off you while still in control of kite. Hold brakes in and get back into buggy and away you go.
  5. Is this the kinda thing you mean? http://www.craigsparkes.com/buggy_tricks.php Flatland tricks have short descriptions only, now writing aerial ones. For a lot of the tricks one pick dose not make much sense so trying to do some sequences as I find them.
  6. Would it be for useful to have an Online reference point? If i get a chance over weekend will go through photos and do a small guide. Not full trick tutorials but list with small descriptions.
  7. You will gain no advantage on the 10.5 Infact you will probably loose out being on it. It was mainly designed for kitesurfing and not buggying. The power is too slow, it dose not turn quickly and is just not worth the bother.

  9. What a race at the end! Wont put results for those who have not seen it yet!
  10. Look at website on page, T3.com
  11. Yeh thank ***, Have been trying to tell them for last month it was their connection, someone then went and checked fully and the cable from the main hub to the router was loose, so the internet was working for them, just not for the weather station or webcam! Living a few miles away i dont need it for weather more to see if i can sneak a session in, am gonna have to try a surf there at some point! So wet lol
  12. I somehow get the feeling Abba is trying to be awkward The phone has wifi, the wifi will work if no sim card is plugged in. If you go read THEIR small print it only referses to wifi useage at their hotspots. It uses the phrase WiFi as not enough people would understand the "Cloud" You can use the 3g Iphone on any wifi router that you would normally use for free, however if you want to use the package where you get THEIR wifi hotspots then you have to pay. Have you thought how they would tell if you are using your own WIFi and charge you? Some places dont get o2 signal so so if your there and using WiFi how would they log it?
  13. Aslong as you are not buggying or boarding or any other traction sports you are allowed to fly at Brancaster. It is only the traction side that is affected, there are signs up at the beach.
  14. I read the big selling point as "Only crashes a tab not the browser" Take it that is why it is out on windows platform first as that doesn't happen on OS X. Tried it windows and seems ok, no quicker than FF 3 or Safari (on OS X) BUT defiantly nicer & quicker than IE. From a web designers point of view, just another browser to make sure everything works in! They like making our lives easy!
  15. Evening, With my job I am always playing with new ideas, and trying effects and ideas in photoshop, fireworks etc.. To make this time as less wasted as possible when trying some things out over the last week I came up with the idea of creating a wallpaper for freestyle kite buggying as there are very little of them about. This is the very first one done so i would like to hear all feedback, This includes logo sizes, position, anything that you feel you would like to see differently. Once I get the format correct I will be doing around 6-8 different versions with a vast variety of shots, including flatland freestyle & aerial freestyle To view the wallpaper please go to the following page. www.craigsparkes.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1219950898 Thanks Craig
  16. 1 very cool shot, now looks very cool! Nice to see you playing with your shots bro!!
  17. Yeh same, guessing you are heading up kitesurfing? Am prob heading out on tuesday time so will contact you.
  18. Full story here. http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2008/08/07/gtaiv_pc_launch/
  19. Ok I know I am a Flexifoil rider but read full post before judging. I personally think its great that shops such as extreme pie, amazon are selling the SMALLER kites only. They are not selling kites that are huge profits such as the Blurrs, blades water kites etc..... And lets be honest, how many KITERS would buy from these sites, they would not. They would go to a kite site or shop. People who are likely to buy on these sites are likely to see the products by accident and not be looking for them. This is great for the sport. If 1000 people buy from these places of which 20-30% maybe take up the sport that is 200-300 people more in the sport which will most probably get a magazine, find out about shops and then buy from a real kite shop. The sales gained by these places are not likely to have been taken away from kite shops. That is my honest view.
  20. What a session yesterday!! Manic jumps loved evry min of it! (9m Atom 08 Petrol)
  21. Will be out tmz at hunny.
  22. TBH Dreamweaver is the best option. I use it every day, and with the web suite from Adobe, including Photoshop & fireworks makes it alot easier to do very advanced designs. Was lucky to get Stuido 8 as student so could then upgrade so was not too expensive. If you are looking to just get the site built you do get a 30 day free trial if you can do it that period?
  23. Well having just got back from seeing the Dark Knight i must say, Heath Ledger was amazing in it! Must say he did make the film, played the part so well! If you have not seen it yet then it is deff worth the 3 hours! Very good plot & story from start to finish.
  24. Best thing to do is go and speak to O2, more than likely they will let you keep the deal on a new number if you explain the calls etc...
  25. Well headed to SP and got a decent session in! Decided to take to the skimboard for most of it as tide was being a pain. Snapped a line which was most amusing, seeing as how i had been using it week before in silly winds! Heading to Bran for a land sunset sess tonight.
