Have been the other side of the Bay for 2 years, 2 years ago in July.
1st Year had 10m weather or 12m Weather (Fusion & strike 2's) and got out for at least 8 of the 14 days.
2nd year had lighter wind days and was 15m Strike 2, and a couple of days of 12m weather. Had 3 days of not great inland which brought 30mph winds on the Coast, so ended up wuth 3 days on my Ion, because where were staying it was near the club mistral school no one was out, bia 2 of the staff from there!!! Had an epic time.
I know it is becoming a more popular spot, and with a small launching zone into the water, i.e gap to get out when it gets busy it can be a bit of a pain.
So it can be hit & miss, http://www.myskyriders.com/en/destinations/home/15/genInfo
Has more info, the crew at Club mistral are top notch & very friendly.
They also have a rescue boat, which is for non school people but if it did go mega tits up i have seen them go out and get people in! Also on the day with mega winds when school was not going ahead they did put it out for the people who were out as a safety measure!
