  1. Evening all, I've finally got my permit for Ainsdale, so looking forward to getting out. What wind directions work for land boarding at Ainsdale? Cheers JP
  2. Great - will try that! Thanks (-;
  3. The edge of the laminate of the top deck on my land board is coming away from the composite deck - have a look at the photos Anyone got any ideas how to fix this back down in a waterproof way - I don't want the deck itself to get soggy on wet beaches... Thanks for any suggestions!
  4. Thanks for the quick replies - once the tides move roudn and wind picks back up, I'll be down after work! Cheers JP
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum - this is my second post (after one in the Ainsdale thread). I'm just getting going on my land board with 4m flaxifoil kite, so pretty much a beginner! I've been over to Fleetwood once, and was deserted, but found the sand really soggy, making getting going tough. I was pretty much right in front of the Hangtime shop. Is there a better palce to kite? When I went it was deserted, but it does get busy, and is there anything I need to know about no-go areas, restrictiosn etc? (I'm going to sort BKSA insurance now anyway). Cheers JP
  6. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum, and realtively new to kiting - I've got a 4m Flexi Blade which I (just) fly with a mountain board. I'm based in Manchester, and have mostly been flying in Heaton Park, but definately want to get to the coast for better wind and sand. What's Ainsdale like? What's the best wind conditions? I know about needing insurance and permit, so will sort that, but is there anythign else I need to know? When's best to go? Cheers JP
