  2. had a wicked afternoon on the common once the rain had gone. Ady turned up too.
  3. sunday winds are looking better, just wish the rain forecast would do one.
  4. A certain bearded fellow and I will be in South Wales the weekend, here's hoping for some good winds.
  5. Sorry clive missed your birthdat, but happy birthday anyway. Missed all the flying this weekend getting ready for Pembrey. now the wind has done one. Just need to find my spacers for my skinny wheels must have at least 3 sets somewhere. Hope to get on the common and fly with you all soon.

  7. It is good to have a course to aim for. Plus other kite flyers and pedestrians to put you in positions you would never normally go in. Can't wait to see Greg at pembrey, lets hope for some westerleys.

  10. Just realised I put in cleve in Germany which has no wind. Cleeve hill looks pretty good so I will head on up there in the morning, not mid afternoon like most. Lol
  11. Cleeve looks like a no go tomorrow, someone nicked the wind. Will probably reassess tomorrow and see if thes enough for a fly at hearsall. Away in Devon with loads of wind and next to no kites, get back and it drops. I think god hates me because I don't visit him on a Sunday. Lol
  12. Will see you there Mike, I like a challenge and hate walking so i will give that 100m a bash and have the carpark to myself. bike carrier and all. lol. Looks like the 7m blur weather. i will wear it out at this rate. Will be there about 11 got to take the dog to the kennels.
  13. Went to mabo yesterday, gusting to 44mph what a crazy nuts out few hours we had. Mega smooth beach but struggled to see through the sand storms at times.
  14. Managed to get to mablethorpe yesterday with Greg and Andy from Nuneaton . The wind was gusting to 44mph so it was a bit nuts. I managed to go out on my 2m flow and in some places a 1m imp. It was crazy.

  16. Sadly due to a 24hr virus and pulling a muscle in my arm, i missed out on what sounds like a super weekend. Hope Greg got some tack turn practise going on. We might be able to pursuad him to take his race licence. Lol Great to hear the rain kept of and the winds blew.

  19. My mum said she didn't mind if I went and flew kites today but the wife didn't see it that way. Lets just hope its as windy for Ainsdale in a couple of weeks.
  20. Was looking at mablethorpe this weeken but wife just informed me it Mother's Day on Sunday. Had to be with good high winds.

  22. Here here Clive, he's been too long away. Still smiling from Sunday, totally enjoyed it. Even though it was busy we all seemed to gel together and not get in each others way. Role on the northerleys cold or not.

  25. Can't believe I missed the bike incident. Still buzzing though. Probably one of the best kite sessions I have had in a long time. Hoping for many more.
