  1. Fersure. I would - and I play very fairly.
  2. The Science of Sleep. Odd little number from the same guy that did Immaculate Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, £3 in Tesco bargain bin. Definitely worth a watch, quite surreal at times - but I like that sort of thing
  3. Bah humbug... Hey, cheers Morb Me being festive? Blimey, bang goes the neighbourhood...
  4. That's really sound advice. Sometimes you can't help the "flinch" effect when you see somebody raise their arm when they're on a bridge and you're zooming along below it. This has made me feel quite spooked bearing in mind the subject matter, then seeing your icon and then with the way my mind works - I find myself remembering Radio K.A.O.S. by Roger Waters (from about "87/"88) where a character drops a brick/stone off a bridge on to a car in one of the opening songs. Great album as I recall.
  5. Cheers Steve, that's a great idea especially as he's only here two weekends out of three... Having one big treat at the end makes much more sense. I'll look one out as soon as I get the chance.
  6. I got a big ol' "D'OH!" because I forgot to get one for myself. I haven't even got one for my boy - but he won't be down till the weekend - so I'm not quite a bad Dad for not having already got one. Where's the best place to get 'em? I've only seen them in Tesco's... and High School Musical with c**p chocolate in it will not go down well. My boy likes Star Wars, Superheroes, Motorbikes & Robots *lol* (Nota at all like me at all *looksround* *whistles*)
  7. Can you ping me a picture at all? I think I've only ever heard of these things - but what i heard was good... Cheers
  8. A, somewhere else I haven't been. Ok, I'll try - I've heard lots about it but not taken the time to look... What else are dark evenings for? Cheers
  9. Hi Avspider - they're not so much twisted as uneven...
  10. Hi, would you split the two with 20mm bearings out at all? £30 + postage?
  11. Thanks again Steve, - I don't think the pic of the bridle in the manual is a true representation either. I'm definitely going to have to track Jerry down...
  12. The 5 that I flew was fairly sorted, didn't have any collapsing problems but was just slower than a slow thing on a bad day. They really make you appreciate the Rage *LOL* and then bless the Blurr as something else - but for the money - they're reliable, er, well - they could be...
  13. Hey Badger, thanks for the info - looks promising. I just thought it was funny having flown a 3, 4 & 5m Beamer thanks to folks on the Dunstable Downs that my one should behave like a pig! Mind you - it still scudded me across the field at a hell of a pace - made my son laugh his l'il socks off at me!
  14. I was trying to fly my Beamer on Saturday and noticed that it pulled to one side and tried to fold a bit. It wasn't luffing before anyone says that. It was just plain not right. The wind was at least 12mph so it should have been good, but you know, Beamer-ish I had to give up after a short while but on pack-up I noticed that the bridle was connected unevenly. On the left side the Main (flight) lines join in two rows of four (one above the other) but on the right side it was three and five? I'm not sure if I've explained myself clearly but I thought I'd ask about it before I go and do something daft - that I think is probably common sense - and re-connect things into 4 & 4 to match both sides. I might have to pop in to SkyHigh's on Friday to have a look-see at what the one they have on the shelf looks like. I checked with Festa and he'd never noticed it before - but I think he has the grace of Welsh coastal winds to thank for that Any ideas folks?

  16. Bump and up you go... I would fersure - but I'm already holding 3.3 Sting on 25m lines plus a 3.5 Blurr. Shame 'cos my 4.7 Rage could have a l'il brother
  17. Now, put like that - it just endears me more to Flexi - But it sure wouldn't hurt having a l'il sneak preview, some tantalising snippets of vid, heck - even a blurry photo - Ha! No pun intended Hmmm, sounds like you like the wet stuff
  18. "When Doves Cry" by Prince always makes me remember a lass from North Devon back when I was just 16 *sigh*
  19. Is there any sort of central gathering place where we see or hear of "new" kites? (Other than here *lol*) I've been waiting to see what Flexi's new depower foil is meant to look like - but all I've heard to date is rumours and a "watch this space" from Flexi themselves. I've been watchin' but the paint has burned, blistered, flaked & peeled now - let alone dry... Or have I missed something / not know something / just being too impatient *sigh* The new Ozones do look nice but I've not tried one yet. One day I will I'm sure...

    Kite Booting

    Looks like fun
  21. Oh dear, now I feel like a total dumbass - 19 reads and not one comment *sigh* I suddenly feel all childish playing Lego games on PS2 *LOL* - Not tat'll stop me *grins*
  22. I hope someone else on here is playing or has played / completed this game. I'm losing severe Daddy Cool points 'cos I can only get 99.4% complete. Okies, I've got to ask because I haven't the heart to go searching for a walkthrough - never have so far. I'm stuck - and embarrassed 'cos Lego Star Wars I & II plus Lego Indiana Jones were easy. I have all the minikits, all the power bricks, all the characters bar one, almost 4 billion studs - but there are 11 Data thingy's that I can't get unlocked... My son's 7 and he's tickled pink that I can't find what I'm meant to be doing next... Please help
  23. Axel didn't really mind being fenced off from the rest of the band for their first come-back gig...
  24. *grins* Lunaloco has the same birthday as me, heh!
  25. Have pm'd you
