Going in Feb has anyone Kited their ?, is it suitable ?, from memory their is a large flat area behind the DMC mid station but I havent been since before snow kiting appeared
Dry suite if your over 30, Ocean rodeo or Gul, you dont need gloves or hat till it drops to 6 degrees
Or stand there freezin your fruits off in ya wetsuite tryin to look cool
I have the Ocean Rodeo Pyro lite, its just starting its 3rd season
I wear normal clothes under it, but if its 6 degrees I put a fleece on under it
You can then moderate your insulation with helmet gloves & a impact vest
Dont start sweating, or your under garments get wet & you loose insulation & warmth that way
Ocean Rodeo drysuit its like closing the enviroment out, then choose wot to wear on ur hands feet n head, im 46 n kited thro the last 3 winters, crashing the odd s bend pretty hard without leaks
a couple of go's on a bigger board might help for a start but the 136 is ideal once your up n riding
Are you putting enough power on with the trimmer, you need more power than landboarding
Arc's are great kites and ideal to learn with, I'm now doing unhooked stuff n loops with Synergy's
Big kite weather can be easier to learn in, Progression DVD's are a great help too
windguru.cz or xcweather will tell you when and where its blowing, Tarifa is windy but you need a car to get round the spots
The coast you are on is quite breezy but there's restrictions on some beaches as you have probaly found out, try the local kite schools they should know where to go
correllejo and flag beach at the north of the island are the place to be, night life, restaurants and 10 to 12m kites in july, hire a car and visit the other places
It was my vid, it was at Old Hunstanton, the tide was going the wrong way, there was only 10 Knots of wind. Theres 2 kite loops in the vid and it water relaunched when I crashed it shortly after like to see a silver arrow do that!
