1. Fu*k, that's sad. Couldn't do without the tv but I've cut back on the alcohol and I'm into coffee. So my liver is safe but now I'm going for a heart attack. Oh well, gotta go sometime. Happy New Year everyone.
2. Mablethorpe yesterday. 53.0mph. New PB for the Patriot on sand. 6m Access.
3. You're probably right about FB, Mick. Nowt but gossip. Why weren't you at Mable yesterday, being naughty?
4. Anyone hoping for a good ride from Abigail this weekend? I am, as long as she's not too wet.
5. Sadly not me, Mick. Was there that much wind??
6. Pm sent
7. 1 sold. 1 to go :-)
8. Both sold.
9. 3 piece set and a 2 piece set for sale. Professionally made and bombproof. Fittings are A4 stainless so they won't be rusting in a hurry. A bit faded but still ultra strong. £12 each set, £20 for both, posted. Note that you use these belts ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Your body will snap long before these belts will if you get it wrong.
10. Good used condition. Smooth running, no bearing damage. Breaking load 700kg. SWL 230kg . £12 in the post.
11. Wichard Snap Shackle WD-2674. 80mm long. Good used condition. 2 available. One with white balls and the other with nice bright pink ones. £25 each or £40 the pair, posted.
12. It's one of those big lumps that were on eBay a few years ago. All complete and ready to use. Used only a couple of times and am now selling the buggy I used it for so it's for sale. Fits between the rear axle on the front buggy and the front axle on the buggy being towed. It was actually good fun but my kids aren't interested. It's heavy. It's solid. So £28 posted or welcome to collect from Luton for £22 1 mile off M1, J10. , Also on eBay.
13. Standard Flexifoil Buggy with barrows, belly pan, tow rope, foot straps, foot rest grips. Good used condition. Straight standard axle. Bearings sound. No rips in the seat. Belly pan could do with a polish up but unbroken. Need the space so £80. Can deliver for £10 to the following postcodes: OX, HA, WD, UB, RG, GU, SL, HP and MK. May deliver to adjoining postcodes for £20. Other than that, collection only! Also on eBay.
14. Finally got a new PB on grass at Stopsley today. 49.5mph. Buggy was rock solid. Flying a 6m Access XT Chuffed.

16. Ah, but if you're on the beach, they won't need to bring a boat with them.

18. It was only 37 to 44 around Luton Airport so my 4m Access would have coped (at Stopsley, not Luton Airport), helped by a 130kg buggy/pilot combo. RedSkyHorizon might have tried in a 50!
19. Anyone go balls out and fly in today's winds? I'm ashamed to say I didn't organise my week well enough to try.
20. For distance: NW. There are a few dead spots to kill top speed but it's the longest run on the field. I've done 85 miles in a day. For speed: SW. Cutting across the short side of the field E to W, you can pick up some good speed (uphill!) and use the turn North to max out slightly downwind. Good technique for flying overpowered but can be difficult to stop at the end of the field! With no goalposts it is a lot safer. Hit 44mph a few weeks back. For a general day out: Anywhere N to S via W.
21. No worries, mate. Not sure what the forecast is gonna turn out to be anyway. Todays is miles off!
22. Really flexible for time off cos I'm the blue (and green) eyed boy atm. So Easterley=Mabo. :-)
