  1. mental kiteloops, is that what you call looping it whilst im holding you down and smashing us both into the soft sand? ive bathed twice now and im still finding sand in funny places. I noticed the kitesurfers were trying this wither their LEI's but they just dont have the glide thatthe x air has, then again they were designed for this kind of thing.
  2. bump for a top kite, and a lad who seriously needs the money for cosmetic surgery.
  3. got some pics did ya? any as good as this http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u34/wenglishstu/dunes2.jpg lots more fromthe days action on the air evo forums click the red for link if you dont know it. hope you had the weather we did. laters guys
  4. yeah thats a mental price for a kite. but it is a very light pice of kit.
  5. yer id be up for a chance to meet up and fly. there arnt many people down my way with hq kit, so demos are hard to come by. im sure if you havent been you and the rest of the skypirates will like the beach where i fly, thers always room on there.
  6. yer ive got to admit i do fix most things on my cars but if the rains comeing down and if im going out somewhere and need to stay smart then ill get the RAC to change a wheel.
  7. ah the first night, yer but the lads flying them were demoing the kites and had never flown one before, they do take a little getting used to and in the unhooked mode you have to be a little gental with them in the lower winds if you have tried to ajust the trim to get the most power out of them. so ill admit the kiters wernt flying too well. as for the sizeing they havent screwed them up, they realy are 8m kites and are labled as so, however they just happen to have the power of most 10m depowers and so it is advised that you buy a size smaller than you would normally, which to be honest saves you money which is never a bad thing is it? the 07 ozone frenzy some say to have more power than the 06 version, its just a case of manufactorers beaing ableto make a design more efficient at creating power. this has been the case in the aviation buisness for a long time now, da vinci's first design fora wing im sure isnt the exsact same as the ones fittedto the air bus but it is still based onthesame principal. im not saying the montannas arnt a good fly i was strongly considering then at one point for my first depower kite and enjoyed flying them when i got chance.and im sure they have improved lots since the mk1, i just feel that they are more of an allround kite and so have been made the the family car. safe reliable, enough preformance to make you grin but nothing like a propper sports car. so to speek. hope ive not boared anyone with my drivvle, skeer
  8. oh and it wasnt the u bend either i had to enter the drain and rod the bugger out. its put me off all forms of gravy for a while let me tell you
  9. montana 2... was out pwerforming manta and air evos at wallop in morning at at night flying i beg your parden? i dont belive that for a seccond. 10m air evo, nice and grunty with more speed than the montanna 12m evo about the same speed but more pull. mantas were doing ok as well from what i could see. and that was a montanna having to be worked like a goodun when the wind was low. ill stand corrected if im wrong, but i seriously doubt it.
  10. yep says me, but then again ive used some very strong cleaning stuff in the last 24 hours and im all shiny and smelling new now. kinda

yes, i was quite impressed with what its managed.
  14. yes according to statistics, that are based on insurance claims. women genrally have minor bumps that are either wall and post related or can be settled with a bit of cash. where as young lads will totally write off their cars in one gow. ive managed to stay accident free so far and my insurance is now down to a reasonalble level where it dosent cost more than my 98 laguna is worth. face facts girls do race about but more offen its the lads (please dont say that you have never put your foot down from a set of lights because we all have). if your going to do something stupid be prepared for darwins rule to take effect, girls keep up the good work, it always makes me laugh sitting ina car park and watching you gals reverse into parking spots.

ok its all done now, it wasnt pleasent. i got the drain rods from work and got down to some serious pushing. 10 minutes later the rod broke through into my drain and upon retrival i found the cause of the problem. PART OF A HOUSE BRICK! now ive heard people saying ''ive just s**t a brick in there'' but this has to be the first case of it actually happening. lots of clean water from the hose made sure the drain was running clear. ive put my waterproof overalls in a sealed bag and in the bin along with my wellies and numerous gloves. ive had a 2 showers and a bath and scrubbed my nails to the point of bleeding. i just dont feel like having anything for tea now. thanks for all the advice guys and gals, oh and lou what girls do in the loo isnt my buisness but surely common sense tells you not to flush a whole toilet roll down in one go!

i just lifted next doors drain cover and theirs is all fine and dandy, so the blockage is between us and them, ill borrow the drain pipes from work and sort it out tomorrow. then ill do the mop thing. but i recon the problem is the pipe that runs from us to next door, this pipe connect to the main sewer at the end of the run of houses. thanks for the help ill let you know how it goes tomorrow.

    Blocked loo

ive just opend up the outside drian, the level seems unusually high, with nastyness floating in it. the upstairs loo flushes fine and comes out into the drain with no problems but when i flush the downstairs loo i carnt see anything comeing into the drain. It looks to me like the outside drains might be blocked. any suggestions? should i try the downstaris loo with a plnger and then see about the drain or is the drain likely to be causing the blockage and because of the toilet being much closer to the drains level that is why it isnt working propperly. if it is the drains should i tell the girlfriend not to use any of the toilets and to stay at her mums untill its fixed?

ok so i came home today and the muisses told me that the toilet wasnt flushing propperly, i asked her to explain and she wanderd over and flushed it. what she didnt say was that the flush is fine it just dosent drain away and take the nastyness with it like it should. over the space of 30 mins the water will drain away makeing my thing that its just a simple bloackage in the u bend but as its an ald bog that is cemented in place comp with the u bend i carnt take it off. should i just roll up the sleaves and get at it with a plunger (tomorrow because i carnt be botherd going out to b&q now) or should i borrow the snake from work that we use on the drains? or perhaps a combination of both? also if it dosent work should i then call a plumber or take a hammer to the thing and get some rather nasty stuff all over myself? many thnaks for any help and advice offerd, even if it is about as usefull as a blocked toilet.
  21. stick a post up and let me know when your going (like what day etc...) and ill try to meet you all there, its been a while since ive had any good freestyle to watch at the beach, im running low on inspreation.
  22. so most agree with what i told you, once your up there, might as well loop it. next time well get it on film eh?
  23. nice vid there guys, my onlycomment is you came off a junctionearly, go down to the next one and youll save about 5 mins driving at least.
  24. ive been watching this thread since day one but my account only just got activated. i fly both inland and at the beach. midweek i stay on the grass as it teaches you to watch for changing conditions and learnt how to handle the gusts and then when i get to the beach at the weekends im willing to try more stuff because i feel more confident and trust the wind isnt going to die suddenly. theres nothing i like more than a good play on the beach in smooth wind but you carnt beat the extra power you hold down on grass.
