IMO OSX86 is the worst of both worlds, unless your building up a pc specifically to run it.. I.e very similar spec to a mac anyway (hint hint).. Had it on this desktop for a while but soon got f*cked off with blue screens, having to manually update it etc
Ive got a mac book pro at home, plus a pc but run a 2.5 quad mac pro for recording and media in college. Both opperating systems are as good as eachother imo, ive had the mac pro (with no internet connectivity) crash more times than this pc with the same set of programs and half its spec (2.4 dual core, 2G of ram). Obviously there are other things to consider, but fundamentally thats what it comes down to..
Having priced it up im going to build up a pc with a 2.5 quad core, 4 gig of ram in a rackmount server case for around £500, with no internet connection. Simply because on the whole i've had fewer problems with xp pro than mac OSX, thats not denial, thats the truth.
