  1. Pieguy's told me to let you know he'll be out this week at some point, but unfortunately he's got no credit so somones going to have to call him and remind him at some point.
  2. IMO OSX86 is the worst of both worlds, unless your building up a pc specifically to run it.. I.e very similar spec to a mac anyway (hint hint).. Had it on this desktop for a while but soon got f*cked off with blue screens, having to manually update it etc Ive got a mac book pro at home, plus a pc but run a 2.5 quad mac pro for recording and media in college. Both opperating systems are as good as eachother imo, ive had the mac pro (with no internet connectivity) crash more times than this pc with the same set of programs and half its spec (2.4 dual core, 2G of ram). Obviously there are other things to consider, but fundamentally thats what it comes down to.. Having priced it up im going to build up a pc with a 2.5 quad core, 4 gig of ram in a rackmount server case for around £500, with no internet connection. Simply because on the whole i've had fewer problems with xp pro than mac OSX, thats not denial, thats the truth.

  7. MatJ, are you talking about making music or business here? There are two types of music, that played well and that played badly. The rest is personal taste, if your going on about number 1's and record sales, your probably not looking at the best genre of music to be drawing conclusions about whats 'Good' and whats '****'.. Look a little further than the bands spurred on by commerciality and reality tv, and you start to appreciate what music really means

  19. Good decision.. My talon 1's were very bad quality.. lasted about 2 months of beach use.. the plastic inside snapped when I accidentally stood on one, meaning the entire thing snapped off the following session, the ratchets jam up very easily and after using them a couple more times, they went completely.. Heard good things about the talon II's, but from personal experience dont go for the talon 1's.. Fork out the extra for some f3's or scrub ratchets.. they work!
  20. Funny thing, irony.

  23. yer thats the basic idea. once you have the hang of this you can throw it diffrent ways, like doing a backloop and inverting that (much harder i land on my head trying these most of the time). to do a straight invert i just swing my legs back behind me then forwards whilst leaning right back, using the momentum gained from swinging them back and forwards again with the added power of leaning back to invert, but you have to be carefull not to catch your board on your lines ( picture kitelooping whilst inverted and confused, its not going to end nicely is it? lol )
  24. i found it easier to learn by doing a 360 front loop, then realy kicking my legs up and leaning right back, straightening my legs out when they are overhead, this will help stall the rotation and hold you in the inverted position, then pull your legs back in and finish the rotation off. at the end of it you will have done a barrel roll invert but its a start.
  25. we couldnt get the vid camera in time so just took a regular still, and just for the record there are no restrictions on those dunes. so we didnt do anything naughty lol
