  1. Morgan, you're right its a walk not a climb.............but i can assure you its a really HARD walk/trek. I think what the team is doing is a great way of raising money and i don't want to put a downer on that but hundreds of people do this every year for charity, most fund it themselves and they dont have a medic to give them anti-sickness drugs and vitamin boosters when the going gets tough.......just my opinion based on experience, did this 3 years ago, self funded and raised £1000 for the pilgrims hospice......
  2. You could try cold pack after the activity, 10 mins on, 10 mins break, not directly on the skin.........ibuprofen is good for joint pain, also try stretching out the flexors/extensors (muscles in the arms between wrist and elbow ) and biceps/triceps, it may help take some pressure of the the joint............if you have a local college that teaches sports therapy they usually need people to practice on and you can get treatment cheaply (all supervised)

DD.............what story should i believe ???? this one or the one you're telling on another Forum........... you know the one where you called yourself an a*** hole............
  4. Hey.........i know it all sounds doom and gloom but that tends to be the case when peeps do not rest/ice/treat etc the problem.........its not a good idea to "work thru" an injury like this, its best to get good rehab advice and take it.......it will heal quicker and be less likely to return .......
  5. Have you had in evaluated ? i would strongly suggest you get yourself to a Sports Therapist/ physio asap...........ice over the area will help reduce any swelling and inflammation, as will massage of the quads, IT band. Tib ant and Pos, i would avoid massage directly over the area until you have had it checked out, your Doc may be able to give you some form of anti- imflam !!!! Also ultra sound therapy gets good results once it has settled, i know i'm sounding a bit of a nag but this can be a serious condition and has ended peoples careers so get it checked....... You local Gym should be able to point you in the diection of a good therapist. get well soon
  6. A few years ago whilst sitting in a pub chatting about xmas, my mates and i decided we always get atleast one **** present from a relative who never knows what to get us, so from then on we always asked for that present to be exchanged into a donation to a charity of their choice........we never know when we'll need the RNLI so wouldnt it be great if everyone just gave up one present and donated to them instead !!!!
  7. Not much point me going on there as i'm new with very little experience unless i can go on there and say how pretty my kites are.......lmao......b****Y forgiving i can tell ya that much...
  8. I can only comment on the Rebels, but i started out as a total newb on these, 07 by the way, i've slammed em, crashed em, dunked em and they have survived with no damage, build quality is great, the depower has been a life saver, the trim abilities allowing me to develop my skill and not get bored........as for inverting, never happened to me or my mates that fly them, just my opinion on the rebel. Best thing is to try both.
  9. Really sorry to hear about whats happened, have you tried your local council ? most have a dog warden now and they can give advice on most doggy related things, i see youre in Kent, were in Kent and had to get them to have a "word" with a guy near us who couldnt control his dog that kept going for ours and others even tho ours was ona lead and his wasnt...........just a thought...
  10. I told my husband to put his smelly work gear in the washing machine.........didnt trust him to turn it it on, when i went to turn it on i couldn't find it........found it in the tumble dryer eventually...........
