Are there any spots on the beach at all for a bit of cheeky kite jumping?

I am going away on Saturday for a week in the New Forest and was wondering if there are any good flying spots on the beach in Lymington. Staying near Lyndhurst so kites not allowed over 2m apparently on the New Forest. Any suggestions welcome.

If you only want to spend £125, I would recomend the Airlink Pansh kite. Bought one last week and it fly great in low wind. Not on a level with the Blade but for £125 if fould it great for buggying. Did take it out on the first day in +20mph - not a great move! It had bags of pull and in higher winds just lifts so much but it does tend to collapse but I am spoilt by the blade. If you are on a budget go for a Pansh, other wise a Blade IV 6.5.

Will do! I have to say, which is really sad, I was drawn to the graphics in the first place. From the small amount of time I had with the kite it seemed to have some serious lift but as you say, need some reasonable wind to do a proper review.

Hi Mate, What do you mean? Still reasonably new to kiting so any comments welcome. For £125 you can't go wrong but I havn't really been able to "fly" it properly yet.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I have just taken this baby out in some very gusty winds. I have been flying a Blade IV 4.9 since October and am very comfortable with it. I started with a 2.5 pepper in September and before that a .8m Exit kite from Argos. The reason I'm saying all this is because this Pansh Link has just taken me back to the first time I flew the Blade in +20mph. I have just returned and am about to have a drink!!!! The wind today over Tunbridge Wells must be at least 15mph judging by the trees going mental but it is very gusty. I hope it calms down over the weeked as the kite just takes off and as yet have no control. Great quality, looks great but havn't really got a clue how it flies yet as it collapsed a few times and just as it gets inflated (must be a term like "OH S**T") I'm 15 ft in the air thinking about the time.... I was alive!! Will update tomorrow but at the moment I need a ciggie!

I'm going down to Eastbourne today and wondered where would be a good spot for a bit of kite jumping? Obviosly dependant on the wind but I can travel three miles either side.

Life is all about living and not existing!! I have a friend who is now 37 and has lived off the state since he left school. B&H and the odd brass. Lives in a pokey flat and just watches TV. That's his choice and not mine but he's happy. Everyone is different. Everyone is different!! Do what makes you happy and find a balance. Some people need God and some people just do the right thing. Sounds like you are very lucky to have people who care for you so live life and cross the bridges when you get to them. If it's going to happen it's going to happen, don't assume but deal with it and smile!

1) I have an RS buggy and what setting should I use on my Blade IV 4.9? 2) I want to get a board. As a beginner, could I go much wrong with an Exit board or should I splash the cash. 3) Why dosn't Flexifoil make a Punk Blade set! 4) I want to jump higher!! What's better in 10mph 6.5 or 8.5? 5) Where is Osama Bin Laden. I'll sort you out, honest!

Thanks again everyone. That one on ebay was mine and sold now. Bring on a bigger blade or buggy! Annoying when the winner doesn't contact you straight away though!

Cheers mate. I know it's suppy and demand and back in November £699 was the lowest price. Someone at the time sold their sabre 1 for around £500 plus so I guess that £500 would be a fair price for a 4 month old Sabre 2 currently new at £616?

Hi, I am trying to sell my Sabre 2 9.5 but to no avail! Is the Sabre 2 not a popular kite otherwise what would be a reasoable sale price for a 4 month used a handful of times kite. I paid £699 with lines and bar.

In September last year I bought a 1.8m one from Argos or what ever the size was for £30. I flew it in quite extreme wind down on the south coast near Chichester during our camping holiday. This was first ever kite and flew for hours on the beach - amazing! I caught the bug and can say that the kite flys well in strong wind, is very fast and takes a good battering. I then progresed onto a 2.5 pepper, 4.9 Blade 4, Peter Lynn Spark, Ozone Imp and a Sabre 2 9.5 for the snow. The Exit, for me was a fantastic first step into kiting and yes you could spend a few more quid but for £30 you can't go wrong (cheap lunch plus fruit machine money). It worked for me any way and 7 months on I'm still hooked but my F**king knees ache!!!

Suggestions/ solutions not problems. Put yourself in the role of the other person and think what is required to do the job to the best of their ability. Being cynical or negative dosen't breed progression so use your commone sense or find another job!

Hi, I would go for the Sabre 2 9.5m2. Fantastic safety system and huge amount of pull if required. Great for jumps but and pelvic thrusts!

How good would it be to be a pro at Parkour and use the skills with a Blade 4. Help with landings!
