As some of you know i fly way up north in Canada with a small group of kiters, and we are lucky enough to live on the edge of the arctic ocean deep in a fjord. therefore we have an endless amount of room to fly. if you can imagine 50sq km of flat space, than you have what we play in whenever the wind is up. Few things i should say. Sorry for taking Soooo long but life just gets in the way somtimes, and i honestly forgot. 50 minutes and counting

Well today is the day i quit smoking. I have been sick recently (common cold) This of course has developed into Bronchitis. Which in turn keeps me inside and not hanging on the end of a kite line. So enough of me being a slave to this dirty habit. Cold turkey and maybe some gum...and a whole lot of prayer i may just get through it this time. So all you Church go'ers, believers or just plane people say a little prayer for me and i encourge anyone who has been thinking about quiting, join me in my attempt. We can all do it together or I can do it myself. Just remember smokers love company. Boo

Crazy!!! i've heard of glass strings but not the gun thing. when i first got into stunt kites me and a few friends used to try and take each other out of the sky by wrapping our lines around each others. or by smacking into each others kites in the air. Great times but never glass strings. And i could be wrong but i don't remember anyone shooting at the kites with guns. Boo
