  1. speaking from experience make sure you bungee everything securely, stretchy cargo nets can help also use some non slip matting to prevent the bungee's damaging your bike. When I tour to Assen I carry a large hold all ,tent and fold up chair, just make sure its all secure and remember your extra width if filtering and weight for when you dismount. hth.
  2. google radial keratotamy i thinks thats how its spelt, i had it 10 yrs ago and dont regret anything , I will say I found it quite painful until the bandage came off the next day even with pain killers. My sister had it done about a month before me and has now found she needs glasses for reading other than that she doesnt wear any either.

My astra is a P.O.S. with 140k on the clock, I personally wouldn't want to try it in my newer common rail diesel without some research try some car forums. A mechanic i work with recons he's seen plenty of failures on the bio diesel, if you go down that route make sure its filtered well and still mix it. I personally use neat veg, and mix, not encountered a problem and have been caught out in the cold snaps and it still works. I think the main thing is don't be greedy and you'll be fine. Please excuse my english as i'm 3/4 thro my second bottle of vino ! p.s be prepared for a smell when you run your car on it, more noticable at traffic lights

  20. Google "radial keratotamy " I think thats how it's spelt. I had this procedure done around 10 years ago and still don't wear glasses. I do however suffer with slight starburst when driving at night, but this wouldn't put me off if I were to travel back in time. I will say that post op I had quite a lot of discomfort until the bandage and eye pad was removed the next day. It's one hell of a feeling to remove the bandage post op and be able to see well straight away. Disadvantage - only one eye done at a time so you spend a week wearing one lense in your glasses ! oh and the discomfort:( . Advantages - No more foggy lenses when going into pubs;) as I understand the lazer option part of you sight is burnt away forever ie the most magnified part whereas with rk no loss of sight. Don't have to put your glasses on when you wake up for a p!$$ at night:cool: I can regognise my daughters when they sneak up on me in the swimming pool. No more cost of new glasses every year. You can wear normal sunglasses at last:cool: HTH
