bularoo rocks... i have one i love it so managable and easy to use but launching one land is a realy 'art' is the polite term i think. i am new to depower only had it out a few times. but every times it instills with confidance. even in really nasty gusty inland winds..
its not a great solution but for cost and fimtment you cannot beat a motor cycle helmt, some are really light, diferant shapes and paint jobs. and not a bad price to boot.
Good shops sell hundreds of the things your sure to find one or at least some help to talk to manufactures for any really specile fit.
hope that helps.
i have not flown may kites as yet, but i have just got a 10M Bularoo, that seems a really nice kite.
sorry i cannot compare it to the frenzy, just though i would get you looking at thoes so you can make your own jugements. i guess most of this type of buying is personnal taste anyway lol
what does it mean when it has 'good low end for a high aspect kite'? and 14m its a big one for a first depower...
personnaly i would aim for a 10M to 13M.
oh and saving is good
hi all
yep its siad 8knots in the carpark above the beach. it fairly clean air.
and my 10m bularoo was flying great. nice and easy to get to grips with.
the pepper was difficult to hold after about 5mins. arms were very tired after that.
yeah his pepper is a bit odd, we were wondering if it a settup issue. as at the zenith it pulls really hard. but if you try a sine wave it on the board just seems to luff.
we are farily new at all this. but as the man says we got some nice cruising going on witht he bularoo in the same place at the same time.
thats what i was finding. glad it was not just me.
bit odd really, it kind of slides off the edge and falls off. Its a really odd sensation.
ok i will try again in a stronger wind.
cheers dude
went to the kitejam at the weekend. really poor wind conditions on the sat.
but i did finaly get my kite in the air. it looks great. but i was having all kinds of trouble turning it in the low wind.
its probably me but i thought larger kite were better in low wind. the thing would bearly turn to the point the is was uncontrollable most of the time.
can i change the settings on the kite to make it a little more resonpsive, or was it the fact the wind was really very low.
cheers for any help
P.S. wow it looks good in the air...
what is the weight differance betwwen the scrub velcro ones and these?
if they are not a lot lighter and al lot more durable i would not see the point.
There was me thinking you meant the cushiony foam bit on the inside
