Mandog, I stayed in Cape Kitti last month and had lessons with Kitemed, Cape Kitti is central to the beaches used which are 5 mins away. A close resort is Larnaca which is a livley-ish place with lots of places to eat but not over the top and is about 15-20mins drive from Kitti. Pander.

Good question, I'm not very good even after a year flying, I have struggled to board for so long now and have lost so much flying time awaiting the right wind etc + over cautious. At the moment I have a buggy that I use but I really want to board just as well this summer and i'm looking at ways I can make it a little easier. So just a thought really, although the obvious solution is keep going and my time will come!

Ive just put my Flexifoil Traction Extreme bar 70cm on eBay (No reserve). Looks like new, ive only used it twice and went back to handles.. Very frustrating, emailed, posted to FAQ, no way of tracking, cannot login. Very poor. Is there a phone number that will lead me to a person that will want to offer me some support, post cashing my cheque? Site Quote: "If your name appears in this list please get in touch with us as soon as possible as there is a problem with your application and we are unable to process it further". AND HOW????

I requested insurance for my Nephew 14th Dec 06 and in Jan his name appeared on the site at 192-193 or something - I have tried emailing to ask where his membership card is and so far I have had no reply. (Last emal sent 22nd Feb 07). Does anyone know how I can contact the BPKA other than email?

I remember my brother asking over a few days that a dog walker pick up his dogs mess from the green outside his house, the arrogant dog walker continuously ignored his requests and the daily ritual continued. When my brothers kids came in with mess on their cloths he eventually had enough and cracked, over a few days he went out to the green and put the dogs daily deposit into a plastic bag, when a good offering was collected he followed the dog walker to his house and emptied the contents of the bag over the dog walkers car bonnet. It has not happened since!

Gent's, Just big thanks for your advice, and interesting feedback. It was a hard choice but after a couple of trial Fly's (Thanks to Kelvin & Brad) I have put an order in for a Pulse 10m. The reason I chose the Pulse is that it felt right for me. I did like the good advice to buy loads of kites and sell on the ones I didn't get on with, then the thought of sleeping in the spare room with all my new kites kinda struck that one off the list!! Thanks for your feed back guys, all good stuff.. looking forward to flying Mr Br d's pulse again today.. Gathered so far that both kites are well worth having.. Pulse safe - Venom more hard core? Hope to try with the board as well.. That always provides some entertainment for all around! The missus has ageed to authourise payment for one or the other for Xmas so not long to go now!

So say 15mph winds.. What would produce more power and what would be more controlable?

OK, ive grilled the local lads with this topic and on the edge of placing an order after trying both kites in light winds.. Puting it to the wider audience. What would you choose and why? (Excluding Cost) Pander.

I set one off on a push bike once, I have never got a ticket for that!!

Being new to kite boarding I was trying to stiffen up the board to stop the wobble that indicates good chance of a meeting with the grass is coming up. As I get better I guess a little looser will help me slide the board at the end of the run. I will put the spanner in the kit bag for some onsite adjustment!

Thanks for the feedback... The "large tighten" solved the problem so looking forward to a test run tomorrow..
