I fly there most weekends - but it's REALLY wet at the moment on the flatter areas - but it's fairly dry on the mine working bits which is a laugh. Good from both Ne & NW directions depending where you kite in the park. no restrictions , apart from common sense and loads of places to park , but it is a pay and display. Mid week it's really quiet , just the odd dog walker. Enjoy!!

Scrub furnace creek for sale - very good condition , few spots of rust here and there from where it's been sat in the garage but nothing serious - this is the mark 1 board. Pics available £60 o.n.o plus P&P Cheers

Fill the bath with warm water and chuck in a couple of washing powder tabs , mix up and soak the kite in the bath overnight , then stickit on the washing line and rinse with the hose! Comes up pristine everytime with no tangled bridles! Daz

chaps , i'm in the rugby area , just getting into kiting and am looking for somewhere to fly/board - is ashlawn rugby field any good? Cheers Darren

Fill a bath with warm water , chuck in a couple of washing powder tablets , mix up and chuck yer kite in and let it soak for the night. Then hose it down outside to get rid of all the detergent - done it loads of times to no ill effect and the kite will be pristine again!
