My son is 6 and has a 1.2 sting had him out in 25mph winds a few days back i had to hold him down as the kite shot to the zenith it was lifting him 4ft off the ground

Not sure what will happen this year as Dunstable Kites has closed down:( and i think they pretty much organised the event but dont qoute me on that. It will be a shame if dont happen its a great event for the family and ime sure it attracts a lot of people to the sport, i got meself a Revolution SLE after watching them perform up there impresive stuff.

Hpi rs4 3 Great on road car very fast easy to maitain parts east to get hold of and theres loads of hop ups. I've had one for 3 yeras and has been used and abused yet it still runs great

i get up the downs and stopsley for a bit of boarding

Best get used flying a kite pretty much blindfolded Get used to boarding without the kite then tally up the two take a 2 hour lesson will teach you the basics of flying a kite, hazzard analysis, safety, wind, postioning on board, setting up board and boarding up and down wind and then practise loads till your ready to progress further. Thats my personal experiance for what its worth

i have a 4.5 pepper cracking kite

I have a 4.5 my first power kite loads of pull drags me along at 15mph and goes up in next to no wind iv'e found plenty of lift there as well loads a fun caught me out a few times as well.
