And I dont mean wierd people (although theres nowt wrong with being wierd ) The Stranger - is it possible to re-launch one when its landed face down, nose pointing into the wind ? (without having to peg down the handles and go turn it over by hand) If I land/crash it on its side or on its back then flipping it round and re-launching by tugging the appropriate line is fairly easy, but if its on its face then I find that no amount of line jiggling or tugging has any effect. Just wondered if there was a knack or technique to save me having to walk backwards and forwards to it all the while. I'm just about getting the hang of axles and back/forward flips, but not qu…

Knowing that i like kites (blades) my girlfriend recently bought me a kite. I know my way round foils and the like, but know little about stunt kites, which is what she bought me. We flown it once and it was fairly quick and steerable, but would it be any good if i wanted to try and do proper tricks on it, or should i leave it my cupboard. i'm assuming you get what you pay for...... It's a 'cyclone 150 GS' made by 'gûnther airsport'? Whilst i'm fearing the worst, i'd appreciate being let down gently guys....... cheers Dan

Hi, I have recently bought a Rev. It took a little while to master the controls as they are so different from 2-liners. I am confident with the basics now but I want to take it further. I realise the tricks are very different to the ones I can do with my stinger. but what is possible and how do I do them?? help please JP

Here goes then, is it Sport Kiting or Stunt Kiting? To me Sport Kiting suggests flying kites for sport, ie pretty much everything we do including all the foil stuff. Then again I don't think any of the disciplines are currently officially recognised by the sports council, so does sport kiting exist at all? So is this forum really for Stunt Kiting? Or maybe we should call it trick-kiting?

I've asked this question before, but never really got a straight answer... In relation to kiting, what is a Flik-Flak, or any other of the 'Stunt' (come on Flexi get it right) kite terminology for that matter?
