Well as can be seen Simon had a head on with a snow plow. After skidding on the ice.

He was airlifted to Oslo hospital and as far as i gave heard has a broused spine and has broken some ribs. Passanger Ben was ok but a bit shacken up.

The Delicia is "no more a car".

Hope Si recovers quickly and Ben starts to feel better soon. I thought it was bad enough being chased by a snowplough but to meet one head on must be really hairy  It's suposed to be the Snowkiting thats extreme.

Stay safe everyone

After watching the video posted above (Remi Meum Norway 10th April 2008), I think the awesome snowkiter that turned up on the 3rd of April at the top of Geilo when we were there was him!!!! This guy was truely awesome!!!

I am just wondering how much you guys on the first holiday have spent and how much I need to change over in currency.

Cheers

I wasn't on the Turbulence trip but was there the week before..... Needless to say you'll need to take out a hefty personal loan before you leave!!!

Norway is "muchos expensive" unless you can take supplies out with you!!! We flew out so needed to buy all supplies there... must have spent £250'ish (each) buying essentials from the local shop!!! (they must have seen us coming!!! we were there for a week).

There's no doubt that he's world class.... he would have to have been to do what he was doing without any effort!!! Well he made it look easy!!!

I did speak to him for a while but was totally unaware of who he was!!! :o Even got a bit of video just haven had time to sort it out since getting home.....

We'll try and be more aware next time we're there!!! :)

If it helps Hank, last year I took £150's worth of NOK (thats about 1,488 NOK's) I ate very, very well on the ferry and had 3 trips to the ski resort, needed an extra £50 in Bergan so I could eat well again and get a pressie for the wife.

Do bear in mind I'm not really a drinker, if you do like your drink then may take more say 2,000 NOK and dont eat as well:)

I'll be taking the same this year £150's worth.

I am just wondering how much you guys on the first holiday have spent and how much I need to change over in currency.

Cheers
