maigais Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Tfu topic has to be .... kite board, can moderators change that? since I am computer nerd, my eyes are _bit_ weak. New naish haze boards have dark paint, so it's impossible for me to see them in water. Decided to do bit modding Before, masked in some quality reading material after Quote
Goz Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 I don't know why kite board manufacturers insist on making board with colour schemes that are hard to see in the water that's why when I purchased my first board I made sure it was a nice bright colour that would stand out in the water. Caution Hustler 145 But your solution should make the board more visible (argh my eyes they burn ), just hope you can remove it later on (if needed) when it comes time to sell the board so it doesn't effect the resale value to much. Those are some nice colors, did not figure out this trick when was buying board. I am not going to sell it mate. Will be my low wind cruising board Quote
koma Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I quite like what Nobile have done with their boards. My new 666 is gold and black/grey but have no problem seeing it because if it's fins down then i can see the footpads (Cab Sync's) easily even 20-30m away. If it's fins up then you'll see the neon orange/red fins easily on dark or light water. Quote
