the WRCs way better to watch

Agreed.

Getting up at 6am this morning, climbing up a hill to a stage that we are not supposed to be on is great fun. Some great photos too.

I mean, I have respect for F1 drivers, Big respect, but going sideways through a forest takes some doing.

HAven't been to see the WRC for a few years, but in terms of track racing I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Touring Cars. Much better then anything else at the moment IMO.

For a start there's overtaking and the idea of putting the quickest driver at the back makes it more fun as well, at least it gives others a chance and stops the team with the biggest budget running away with the whole thing which is what usually happens

Used to go:- Saw Johnny H win there and also Damon. Last couple of years have been pretty Dull and very, very expensive. Usually sat down at Farm or Abbey. Cannot justify the cost anymore. Like to see Lewis win though.... I will be in the Garden with cold beer, the telly and a steak on the barby. Far more civilised.

Used to go when they had the old on-day tickets, but now with the prospect of having to book in advance for all days, and a family that would need 5 tickets:( , too expensive.

IF it turns out to be nice sunny weather, Brit winner, cracking atmosphere etc, etc, then it's well worth the money.

Can't afford to take a risk of it turning into a Glasto repeat, kids get trench-foot, and boring procession.

When the kids have grown up, me and the missus will be back:) We don't mind slumming it:)

There is a Sea Fury in there somewhere atavar, and for the record they sound even better in real life.

I was lucky enough to be at Bournemouth Air Museum when they started up their Sea Fury and were running her out. Got to watch it take off later on followed by a Sea Vixen as well.

Two beautiful aircraft in 10 minutes, good day all round
