I disagree, Ainsdale in a dead NE will be just cross off, and the forecast for Sunday is E through to NE.

Depends where you look for the forecast- weatheronline which is pretty good for Ainsdale shows a N. When you stand on the beach Blackpool tower is N so it's cross on. A true NE is just cross off but it hardly ever blows a NE

yes you can sail ne and it is side shore

just look at the arrow on wind guru you will see ne does work it is bang on side shore

What is anyone thinking for Fleetwood?

 

It's either the lagoon early on with an 8.45am high tide, but the better wind looks like it'll be later on

 

or

 

the channel will be exposed from about 11-12 ish, but in a NNW wind it means everyone will be in the bottom section near the pier so not much space to play in.

 

or

 

Maybe ainsdale but if the wind swings any more E then it'll be offshore and we'll be riding the wrong way over the lagoons

 

Argh, what to do?

no it was well worth the petrol col, 9-30 till 4-30 9m weather lovely flat water between the waves and probably 20 of the friendliest kitesurfers sharing the buzz - thats what made the day for me:)

i only came out cause i was aching so much and tripping over my edge

 

top day, thanks to everyone who was there for making it that!:):):)

lligwy was **** hot today mate u shudda bin there specially at the start wen just me n kev were rippin. love them floating things boss for doin taps n that, off to bed so i can get a kip goin ainsdale tomro.
