Am thinking of getting a Bll 4M for messing with and cruising on the days I am short of time so don't get the frenzy and harness out. It will also be also useful for a couple of overbrave mates who are not getting their mits on the frenzy. Used to have a 4m buster , not bad and predictable which was useful whilst learning to board. Is the Blade a lot more of a handfull?

thoughts appreciated:confused:

i found the 4 a great kite to learn on. i have an old b3 4m gathering dust but a lot of fun when it is in the air, found that if it was pretty gusty it would be a pain on the floor while setting it up though. i used to let my mates fly it to get into kites and good for learning to board at about 15 mph i think, been so long since i flown it. The main thing with it was it didn't try to kill you like the b11 4.9, that was an evil kite, but quite fun, but always prefered the 6.4 in same wind conditions to it, somehow felt safer, but going slightly off topic there

The 4.9m mkii was a nice size for a range of wind speeds. My 3.5 Bullet comes out on days like today - along with an extra set of underpants! but would rather fly the blade as it's got more lift/float and less hardnosed grunt. It all depands what you want to do. Using it for mates to mess about with is not a bad idea so long as they know what they are doing.

Mates are just a small prt of my thinking. I am bored with the pepper 4.5 which comes out at the park or on beach family days out. wondered if blade will give a bit more of fun on these days and when not gonna be boarding.

dude these kites are awesome i bought a Blade 2 4m for my second kite after my HQ rush 200. i also taught my mates to kite with it aswell. if you are light like me you will find the static jumps amazing even in 20-25mph wind.

super lifty- sums it up!!

the blade III 4m was my first propper kite. its nice and fast round the window and very lifty on the tighter brake setting. im flying it in my avatar in winds less than 20mph, just.
