pantman Posted February 6, 2007 Author Report Posted February 6, 2007 its such foul stuff!! A few years back i was out on the same green and happened to notice what i felt sure was some mud on my hand, so i thought i would have a carefull sniff just to check but i managed to over cook the hand to nose movement and to my horror land some of the "not so mud" right on the end of my hooter!! Must admit .. i was quite supprised at the ammount of gagging n throat vometing!! Problem is, when winter comes the grass gets longer and it gets muddy makeing it easy for dog walkers to not notice (by carefully looking away at the right moment!!!!) Must admit tho most of them are very good (no way i would pick it up!!) but it only takes a few regular walkers (wanted to use another word there...) to spoil it for everyone!! Quote

B-Roc1599968665 Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 The local fields out here (in the States) are overrun by geese at this time of year (if they aren't covered by snow). I was boarding last month and my wheels and hubs were covered in their slick green snot-like ****. As I was rinsing off my board I noticed a nice brown chunk of dog poo up in my hub . I love dogs but I hate inconsiderate dog walkers Quote
Jared1199 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 I know exactly how you guys feel. I put a similar post on towards the end of last year and it can be read here.... http://community.flexifoil.com/showthread.php?t=101685 Quote

tszy Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I've started confronting people walking ther dogs on my local flying field but strangely enough all the people I've talked to 'aways pick up their s**t'. Its strange how you can never get any dog owners to admit that given the chance, they let ther dog plaster the entire area. Its very hard to get owners to acknowledge that their dogs' waste products and in some cases their dogs behaviour constitute a public nuisance. They seem shocked that you don't consider their dog to be cute. The act of taking a dog out needs to be treated like smoking in public - it used to be tolerated but those participating should be forced to exercise a great deal more consideration to others around them. As a kiter, dogs are my biggest source of grief - if this was America I'd be packing my AK47 for pest control. Quote
Foilman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 What amazes me is the number of people who pick up after their dogs... and then leave the plastic bag of ****e on the grass for you to run over when theres a bin for it a few metres away. Quote
Sad Pander Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I remember my brother asking over a few days that a dog walker pick up his dogs mess from the green outside his house, the arrogant dog walker continuously ignored his requests and the daily ritual continued. When my brothers kids came in with mess on their cloths he eventually had enough and cracked, over a few days he went out to the green and put the dogs daily deposit into a plastic bag, when a good offering was collected he followed the dog walker to his house and emptied the contents of the bag over the dog walkers car bonnet. It has not happened since! Quote
Sad Pander Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Now theres pay back lol Yes, i'm tempted to hire him out as deposit prevention officer, I could make a killing, good rates, plastic bags supplied free, s**t free flying! Quote
kinny Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 take photos , simialar thin happened here on the beach , dog walkers leaving it and walking off , mostly in areas where tourist / kids play during season, couple of kiters i know took photos of the "shaking" dog and the owner not picking it up and then walking off, went to the council (2 mins from the beach) and within 15 mins wardens had issued the guy with a hefty fine and set up camp on the beach watching people! Quote
kinny Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 on a similar note though, i think the fine for not picking up dog **** is £250 max, but if you do get caught by a warden and he wants to fine you , all you need to say is " I'm sorry Mr warden it was me, i was desperate" then all you get is £80 fine for public indecency! maybe a caution too, i know it sounds like an urban myth but i can assure you at least 2 of my close mates have done it, one got caution and one got let off can you belive !!!!! faster4_tec Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 same rules apply to dogs as us and them and everyone. somebody complains against kites being used on the beach, we complain their mutts we're pooping etc etc. I've got a dog, but when he's on the beach, he poops IN THE WATER!!! and most of the time he'll pee in the water too. usually it floats off or breaks up pretty sharpish.. but I feel for those kitesufers FLOATING DOGGY POOP FTMFW Quote
