jlmusic Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 might seem a daft question, perhaps a bit how long is a bit of string, but what do our winds on the east side get up to over winter. just sizing up an arc and want it to cover a large wind range but want to be able to use it over winter a lot
HOUSE Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Evening Folks - back from Whitby and what a disappointing wind forecast. I see the easterlies have done their famous disappearing act AGAIN. Gave the Goths a treat by flying the BLACK Frenzy at twilight on the North beach.......tee heee. Started rigging up the cargo net on the cuda, seat almost finished. JLM - suggest something like a 12m arc will give you the best range and handle the gusts better than most if you're brave enough to go in the westerlies. Predicting what it will do over winter is anyone's guess. Last year we had precious few easterlies but as ever fingers crossed ; )
Neebie Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 arcs......... great as long as you dont like kite feedback
