Destructor06 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 @ Softmint - thanks will do! I don't think that's the reason why it wobbled so much though - i think it was just the speed - the horse tracks didn't help either
Destructor06 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Posted June 18, 2007 p.s... ...After 4 months of waiting my sled 24 and transition tail have finally arrived so I'll be testing the 3m froggie as soon as the wind conditions are ok.
little john Posted June 19, 2007 Report Posted June 19, 2007 Dont blink its the lesser spotted John I know But someone said he would give me a call next time he was going out I only have a 2m/3m a buggy and board now, sold the rst to sort some stuff out am taking it easy, sorting the house out slowly doing the rst of my garden over this week if the rain holds of got a fence to put up and a lawn to lay. Am also slowly building a 5m kite which looks huge me thinks it looks bigger than 5m, I say slowly my belt for the motor snapped and haven't ordered a new one yet . Will have to sort some time out for a day out when it is windy enough for my 3m unless you have bigger kite to spare;) .

HOUSE Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Great session yesterday - especially as it was on the spur of the moment. Brilliant top speed by Carl - I couldn't get anywhere near that as was over-powered much of the time, but I did manage to creep past him on the last run as the wind dropped back a little............. :D Awesome runs along the edge of the sea as the tide was coming in with 2 ozones silhouetted against the sun.........it doesn't get any better than that. Lucky with the weather as the thunder clouds were rolling in just as I left the car-park. Here's hoping we can get another strong easterly on a weekend so that more of the guys can get....the more the merrier:cool:
popeyethewelder Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 be good to see you on the beach Matt

Chris - I am not the one to be advising you........ Have managed just a few runs on the board with the 3.5 bullet. I took it way out to the edge of the sea at Theddlethorpe where no-one could see , and then got on and did my best. I'd say start on some firm sand to start with - its demoralising if you go a few feet and then the wheels dig in and you keep going, not to say bloomin' painful as well. Once you get going at speed you start thinking - Jeez, if I come off now, this is going to hurt..................and it does. If you are going to the beach for a try out then let me know and we can both go a make idiots of ourselves together. Angus is probably the guy to ask as he is a cool dude on a board and rattles along almost keeping up with the buggies and flipping the board around fluently (Was Ginger Boarber on here now aka Angoose).

Destructor06 Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 I was there - raining quite a bit but had a good fly with my rasta rage, not many other people flying - dunno any of the kite surfers but Hadlow is away defending his title in Czech Republic - should hopefully be better tomorrow! Trying to persuade parents to take me tomorrow....
