Anyone been flying today?

Went to Mable around 4 and dismayed to find not a single kite flying. Wind was around 12 to 15 mph just south of east - gave the tandem bar a real test with both kids and the missus - (not all together I might add). The 10m frenzy was the kite yet again (luv it luv it luv it) - got the cuda and the peter lynn up to 22mph in tandem.

2 nice firm stretches of beach all the way from the post to the fun fair.

Awesome weather too

Where were you guys?

Sorry Mate

The wind was nowhere until 3 so I left in a hurry and wind was gone by 7. It's completely still here now. Guess I was lucky to catch it right this time, but it would have been pushing it to get here in time from the north bank.

You been out locally?

Anyone been flying today?

Didn't go to Clee in the end - forecast didn't seem worth it regarding wind speed - wasn't sure if I'd have been able to get kites up, my mum didn't want to go and it's quite a way to go if can't get em up - next weekend will hopefully be able to go before I'm off to Cornwall.

Went to my grans later and put the BIII 4m up for a very short time didn't feel to comfortable on grass without my pads and in trainers with no grip so brought it down to avoid injuries and then had a short go with my new trick kite - pretty dissapointing day really :( washed my board at least...

No worries Carl, I fully understand the balancing act.;)

Just a shame that no-one else was there to make the most of the beach.

Enjoy your weekends - I'm sure you will !! :D
