Don't go there, just recovered from a MAJOR argument about money i.e. how much she could make if she got off her butt and looked for a proper job then we could afford a decent house in a decent area blah blah :(

See what i can do for the pm if the wind will be up ;)

Half field. 15 acres.

  1. Cost of 3 ton rollering = £100 (I haven't got a kite big enough to tow it)
  2. Cost of mowing = £8 - £12 per acre. 15 acres x £10 = £150http://www.seka.org.uk/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif. (I'm in the wrong job).
  3. Cost of ride on mower rental = £90 per day.
  4. Sheep grazing - none in the area that i know of.

I've e-mailed the land agent, apologised for wasting his time & said that it's out of our reach but asked him to consider us if it's going to be left fallow & we could use it on an ad hoc basis. (I would anyway).

The "Crabtree field" at B'stoke was pants, big fat pants with skid marks in, don't go there. Race was cancelled.

At least i didn't come last.

Martin, if you want to go really fast, then come to a supercup race:D

No footy, and they practised rugby for 15mins on the pitch beside us, and then went to the other one so not in our way.

The 24hr is apparently good fun. i've been to hoy a few times, and anything less than bigfoot lights is not recomended, as it's really soft, I've even had a bigfoot light on the front and it still sank one race!! So unless full bigfoots it's not worth going.

edit; For a race, best one for you would be the Pembrey one - barrows is a perfect set up and can camp all together
