He's agreed that i can walk the field & takes some pics etc.etc. I'm hoping to get them posted today. He's also agreed to a test fly:eek:. I said a few people on Sunday to see how clean the wind is. His answer was "I'll leave it up to you". I would like to get as many peeps as poss to drive interest but at the same time don't want to kick the ass out of it. So if you're seriously interested in parting with a few quid, come along Sunday. I'll post some times depending on the weather & it will be best if we stick to them rather than dribs & drabs turning up through the day. Even if we don't pull this off, we've had the free use of a field for the day.
martin Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 This is a rushed post, Iv'e got to go out - back Saturday. There's some pics plus vid on my website regarding the field. It's not that lumpy, mostly "tufty" grass. It's well drained & has a good aspect. There are a couple of horses in it at the moment but they are down one end so shouldn't be in our way Sunday. I'll see if i can find the owner of the horses before then & advise them to move them, they might be on there without the owners consent. How i resisted in not getting my kite & board out of the boot this morning i shall never know, but i didn't want to jeopodise anything, i'm going to have to take a cold shower:o.

Hardly been out flyin' over the past few months what with the new flat, work and dodgy weather; can't wait to get back into the swing of things! That new location looks good, I'll be interested in paying to use it, has a time been planned for the reccy tomorrow?

I don't know wether to try & find the owners of the horses this afternoon or wait till the morning to see if we can get them moved. The owner of the horses might have a private arrangement with the land owner that the land agent doesn't know about. They might even be pikeys horses?????
