Cxx Flew there today, a little bit boggy on the football and rugby pitches but this is to be expected. With the wind today the flying was awesome, just a shame i was the only one there at about 2.30-3.00pm cos i have no witnesses to the MASSIVE (i was looking down on the rugby post centre bar ) kite lift i got! no fair.... Might be there tomorrow, if my back isn't hurting (landed sideways, oops) and i the boss says i can....

Its hammerin it down so LH might be messy tomorrow but might nip over... Not been out much lately if at all........ Xmas an kids... ya Know Oh and got one of those wii systems for kids....and of course me an missus.. Not been out since.....lol Anyway how good is a 6mt sammy mk 2..... Need something for those gusty days at LH Something a bit more forgiving than the 10 Frenzy Less lift but more stable and predictable...... and for thost days when i'm a feeling a bit delicate...lol Need something for say 8 to 20 mph Want loads of pull/grunt but less madness.... Is it too big...what sort of windrange can i still hold it down... Got the 3.6 metre still for those mental wind days..... Sorry about that.... that was long post......Talk talk...... Any opinions.........
avspider Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 The 6m sami is nice, it's always nice to try before you buy, it's not as lifty as a frenzy or blade/haka. But it will still lift, generally depowers are better at soaking the gusts, but hey most of us these days are flying old skool - handles with fixed bridal. Sat for me is a no no. but am hopefull for sunday sess and a tues pm sess is a must!!

Hey Spider, i thought these were both yours, don't sweat it about borrowing someone else's kites just to show me. Btw, LH was a lovely mud bath today and this is my lot until after Hogmanay as the boss says i have to stay in and focus on her for a couple of days, PM or post when your going to be around and we can arrange for you to show me how it's done .
