avspider Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 What a wicked afternoon on the beach!!! Tried a 12m yak in 5 mph which was fun!! Then it picked up to 13mph so on the 6m and pbg on the 4.5m.

avspider Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 wicked weekend!!! Pbg did really well, and I have being doing suicide gybe's which are really fun to do. I have found out our cam can't easily record when mounted on my buggy as it bounces/vibrates too much. Anybody fly the weekend????
T595 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Glad you hear you and sarah had a good time, what was the wind like today? There has been no wind here at all so no flying for me (my ankle's still killing me anyway ). Check out the bargains people had on my ebay sales.....
avspider Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 the wind today was clean, about 10-13mph up the beach, it's been dry all weekend apart from a 20min shower on fri when we hid in the pop up tent. 10mph wind the 6m yak is lovely for a cruise

Slipstream1599968661 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Hi I am coming down to southampton next Thurs & Fri on business and will be staying at the hotel by the harbour. where are the best places to fly Inland and on the water as I hope to get some action on the Friday b4 heading back to Essex. If anyone has a p[ost code to the locations that would be helpfull
avspider Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 you mean this week?!! On the water the best is Calshot, but it's members only I think. Or can try weston shore, can buggy/board/kitesurf there, but I'm sure g0nz0 will let you know what the KS is like, as i think underfoot it's a bit different.
Slipstream1599968661 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 No next week 25th & 26th Looking for good land boarding site preferably but if water is close would give that a go as well.
martin Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I'm off Thu 25th next week. If i'm out i'll be at Port Solent, Weston Shore or West Witterings. I usually post on here. WW was good last night:D, it's been too long since i was on a beach. The kite i bought is a PKD Joy, bit of an odd name but looks well made & it flew in about 2mph of wind.
Slipstream1599968661 Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Shame as I have the meeting on Thurs with Friday off to recover from Thurs Night's TEAM BUILDING" Thanks for the help with locations I will give WW a try I think.
