Dont know if any of you have met these 2 lads????? Yeah I know Ollie aka kiteboy! More of his videos here: http://bournemouthboarding.co.uk/videos.php Good flyers these guys, shame they use de-power kites though as de-power is for wimps and blokes named Dan who is learning to swim..... again
martin Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Welcome tangles & Fred 2. I'm going to be at Port Solent by 11 am & will be there for most of the day, one other is coming that i know of. Anyone else fancy a blast on an open patch of grass with no goal posts?
avspider Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Can people becarefull at LH at the moment. IF they stop the footy due to the bad ground, that means that we should be on it either. I don't know if we're going to even bother trying to fly due to the amount of wet weather we've had over the past couple of days. Rock next weekend at Pembrey!!
avspider Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Looks like there are a couple of people asking on the forum about weekends in oct down at da Ho! Should we turn it into a bigger do?
g0nz01599968659 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Good sesh in the learner pool on Sat afternoon.... very wet, but I'd be dissapointed if it wasn't;) Got some nice float & my landings are getting more consistantly smooth:) Griff - Rob C. says get down to Calshot & keep practising! AV - I guess there will be a few people down at the Ho! on account of the tides that w/e anyway. Dan

avspider Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Sorry guys, welcome to the newbie's. Come and say hello when we're flying!! We don't bite very often. Sorry but got to evil though... Can we just remind people to stay off the cricket pitch, and no overflying the public- this does NOT Inc chav twats on stolen bikes - their fair game so running them over is acceptable. The groundsmen/council don't like he damaging the grass. I've just checked the ground at LH, and it's the nicest I've seen it in a long time!! Very short grass and they've collected it up to. A little bounce under foot and NO puddles!!

Big Daddy Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Hey, avspider, got the text you sent last night:rolleyes: We are going to head up early on Saturday morning. Hoping to arrive around 10:00am. I know the tides are a little earlier this time. Low on Saturday is 12:09 BST at Burry Port, so we should get a load of miles in. What time you getting there? Start praying for those onshores.....
avspider Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 you'll have to play catch up with the mileage mate ;-) as we're aiming for 10am Friday, it's liking like it's swinging onshore
Big Daddy Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 It'll be on shore when I get there. North Westerly for you:p
avspider Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 we'll save you a nice camping spot. Normal breakfast sun in the cafe I think
