I called the Barleylands Farm shop and they said they've not seen anyone over there since '09. I asked if I could just come down and she said I really need to speak to them. I have insurance and would be up for it anytime. I'm hoping I get a positive response and can arrange to meet a few fellow kiters up there this coming Friday. If anyone knows that it is closed I'd love to know before heading up there to check it out. Cheers Guys. Quote

Essex Kite Park (Southend) is still open, but its not the Barleylands kite park Billericay), which is also still open (end the person you spoke to obviously doesnt look out the window very often LOL) Rather large event going on at Essex kite park (Southend) this weekend, First of the "Summer Sessions" weekenders if you fancy it :-) Wherever you decide to go, Have fun n fly safe :-) Quote

Just joined but rather pay on the day as im not really into kiting if its lashing it down. I guess ied be down at about 7.45 is that to early? Quote
