Big Daddy Posted October 31, 2007 Author Report Posted October 31, 2007 Ok mateys, I have now got the Salisbury Crew Weather Station up and running and it's readings are taken from the top of my house. So if you want to see what is happening at my house (Hudsons is only a mile away), then click below; (don't forget to save in your bookmarks!) http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=IENGLAND55 It's only just gone on line, so will soon build up some history. On the right hand side beneath the map, you can click on 'Full Screen RapidFire Flash View' and it will present the data on a seperate page. Let me know what you think. Stevesas, if you wish to do what you were saying, then we will have to talk and see if we can improve on this. Quote
V-Max Rider Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Just got online, I did not get your message from yesterday Jim how about a drink tomorrow? I am just going to have a look and see what this weather station is about. speak to you soon. Quote
V-Max Rider Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Weather station looks good, Lots of information which is good as well. Can you uderstand the graphs because I can't. Quote
stevesas Posted November 1, 2007 Report Posted November 1, 2007 Well done Big D for getting all that weathery stuff up and running Looks impressive and there's lots of really good data there so have bookmarked it... I'm not sure I could improve on that to be honest - but will give it some thought... Quote
Big Daddy Posted November 1, 2007 Author Report Posted November 1, 2007 Thanks for the comments. It has been saying no wind for ages now, so that's that then. No more flying!! Graphs are simple, just look at temperature and see what hour the temp was. Wind speed is given and there is a scatter graph (lots of dots) to show wind direction. Not been long back from Wales, so sorry about pub, but will be up for several on Friday (tomoz). Town? 7:30? Which pub? You decide! Everyone invited. Quote
Big Daddy Posted November 3, 2007 Author Report Posted November 3, 2007 Pub Sunday. So for those that missed the party in Andover last night there will be another chance to talk buggies at the Castle pub tomorrow (Sunday) at 4pm. Bring your reddies;). Wind been pants today but done a few jobs. Looking a bit more pants for tomorrow. Ah well, there's always next week. Quote
Big Daddy Posted November 6, 2007 Author Report Posted November 6, 2007 I'm not saying he's an alky, but..... http://img107.imageshack.us/img107/466/dscn1771ko8.jpg Quote
jimabbey Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Right! This photo was taken on the ferry on the way to France, and just as I was pouring my small beer the ship rolled heavily in the stormy seas. We were very lucky to be alive! Just look at the picture I took from the port hole just before we all drowned:- http://www.caam.rice.edu/~awesome1/Art/jim%20stormy%20night%20at%20sea.jpg Quote
