to me, blading indicates inline wheeled skates whereas skating indicates ice skates on ice.

 

which are you shooting for?

 

That's what I thought - that it was a choice of which name was best (kiteblading of course ;) ) but both sites exist so I guess it's a poll on which one is best.

Kiteskating good for info, but niether have links to UK dealers of trail/kite skates

that actualy stock them,:D

 

any ideas where to get them in the uk m8's:confused: :mad: :confused:

Keep a close eye on the for sale section here... That's were I got mine (thanks moomin :) ) They do appear occasionaly, there was another set a couple of months ago. Failing that you could build some doomwheels...

on the subject of doomwheels, have you used any if so how do you rate them,

the only bugbear is I will have to buy a pair of inline skates to make them :mad: DOH!!:mad:.

Nope, I was thinking about it when I found a pair of terraskates. They look like they might be quite hard on the ankles cos of the height the axles are off the ground. Terraskates are tough enough and they are much closer to the ground. You ought to be able to locate a pair of second hand skates to try it though. Our local charity shop had some a couple of weeks back (gone now). I thought about buying some cheap ski bindings and making some up using them and a pair of ski boots instead too. Pretty sure that would work well enough.
