happypants44 Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 OK OK I know I am gonna get a whole heap of abuse for this as i already have done form the missus ..... sorry i mean JD!! Depending on the day my mp3 player is stocked with a lot of stuff from before my time but still awesome, a lot of The Who, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, even some Beatles. Some older stuff of Sam Cooke and Dr Hook and lots of Motown too thru to a bit more recent of Counting Crows, U2, Fat Boy Slim and Primal Scream. Anyone seeing that i'm a pom in these choices!! Anyway what I get abuse for is what my preference really is If it's playing I have the radio on my phone with ................... can you guess................. yup The cricket commentary!!!!! I did say I was a pom!! And of course that does mean it is illegal for me to support the ozzies I'm afraid so a happy little chap at the mo and currently watching ur young cousins NZ looking very good against you! To be honest I am a cricket tragic and if it is on I am watching/listening to it So feel free, go ahead and abuse me and yes u r welcome to bring up the last ashes series if I can bring up the one day series after it!!! And of course the 2005 series. yes I do clutch at straws! Anyway I know it isn't very extreme to be flying doan the beach at 60Kph with possibly one of the worlds most sedate sports being played out in my ears but I love it and the looks I get are well amusing when I cruise past another group of onlookers as I'm screaming with glee at Ponting getting out!!!! oh bugger, another kiwi wicket has just gone down but come on, u guys have had 15 years of dominance! jdhot Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 HP .. get this one loaded YouTube - The 12th Man - It's just not Cricket Good one Marty, It's obvious if cricket commentary was alway that colourful I'd probably listen to it, but unfortunately it's as slow as the game. Bloody Poms and their cricket JD Asleep at the wicket PS, I knew you'd have to bring cricket into a kite forum HP Quote
