royal era kite opinions ?

anyone in australia flying this kite yet? opinions? photos?videos? demos? trying as many new kites before i buy 2008 models so if you know someone in wa who has one would help. willing to drive to test.

I received a nice email from Simone @ Royal a few days ago but haven't had a chance to get them up. I'll go get them up now for you as they look spectacular. Unfortunately I haven't flown or know anyone that has flown the kite in person yet, so I can't give any feedback.

I played with one last season, i'll get a current model for you to review if you like Koma.

The new Ocean Rodeo Rise 2009 will be here in about a week for testing and review. Once Dan is done with it i'll hand it over to you, then I think it is off to Baggsy to test and review. See if I can get a Royal to follow.

My young bloke flies a 12 and an eight Royal Era. He has had them since early last year and uses them to ride waves. He is very impressed and has had a fair number of kites to compare with having worked as an instructor.

He intends selling them both and replacing them with another eight and a ten before going to Peru in July.

He used the 12 to do a film shoot riding sandboards on the dunes at Stockton so hopefully we will have some footage before long.
