UK Kiting locations in Surrey/Hampshire

Hi, does anybody know any good sites for kiting (I'm in to jumping, so don't need a huge buggy site) in Surrey? I'm going to be spending some time living in Farnham (near Guildford) for a little while, and was just wondering if anyone knows anywhere good to fly near there. I grew up in Farnham so have no excuse for my lack of local geography, but hey, I wasn't looking at it as a possible kiting venue a few years ago!!!

The nearest place that I can think of is the Alexandra Park fields near Aldershot/Farnborough. (I think they're called that...across the road from the Aldershot Military athletics stadium.) Not flown there myself though.

Thanks for that - do you know if you need any permission to fly there? Don't really fancy being stopped by a load of squaddies!!

no u dont need permission to fly there its huge so there is plenty of room for every1 the wind can be a bit of an arse, but on a good day its very nice.best way to come is down the A325 i think and u will eventually past it on your right as u come up to northcamp. or if u want sea winds then a trip down to hayling island near portsmouth is the closest.

if u c a G2 at aldershot thats most likely me, down there most dry nights when the wind is good.

Thanks peeps - I might check out stoke park. Could pop in to the Spectrum afterwards for some ice skating afterwards, just to relive my youth!!!
