He's on a LEA Water kite, come off the water. Walks up the beach a bit jumps some ones lines. Then gets sucked up by a up draft, he gets 50m+. 38 seconds of air time. & doesn't brake a bone. shingles Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 I guy who kites on my local beach...........baring in mind he only flies in 5-10mph but when he's on his own and theres noone there the wind was 25-30mph if you know what i mean. So this guy 'CLAIMS' to have jumped with a 12 frenzi over the dunes at our beach and he was looking down at roof tops...............mmmmm!!!!!! Ive seen this guy jump for real its not a pretty sight and it defo not 40 foot up. IF THAT PARTICULAR PERSON READS THIS SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! Quote

tandrews Posted April 4, 2005 Author Report Posted April 4, 2005 cant say ive seen that one but i have seen one where the top hat guy teathers himself to a jet about 3 billion feet high, falls down again and lands in a patch of blue-berry foxes.......................by the way i went kiting with a freind yestoday, first time he had had a go of power kites, blowing about 18 mph got the bullet out, he liked it, got the blade out, he loved it, i have got another person hooked! Went out in real strong wind, and lifted my dad off the ground when he had a go! lol! then the lines snapped and kite flew away, got it back though! Quote
marman Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 dont know what kite this guy "lenny?" was flying the other day over at lydiard in swindon but winds ranging from 10mpg to 20mph and he was easily getting big floaty 15ft+ jumps and landing amazing slow, looked awesome. the kite was 15m though - must say in the gusts this kite was invincible also the upwind on it looked Quote
