  1. Calling all kiters who fly at Seaton Sluice. Kiting is becoming more and more popular and to keep our beach, which some of us have been using for a number of years safe i think getting a club together would be a good idea. The reasons for this: 1 Help people who are new to the sport and give them hints and tips. 2 Councils will take an organised club more serious. 3 Safety, make sure people in the club are insurred. 4 And finally so we can all have a laugh. If anyone is interested get in contact either through the Flexi website are contact me 07712622189. Cheers Paul
  2. I guy who kites on my local beach...........baring in mind he only flies in 5-10mph but when he's on his own and theres noone there the wind was 25-30mph if you know what i mean. So this guy 'CLAIMS' to have jumped with a 12 frenzi over the dunes at our beach and he was looking down at roof tops...............mmmmm!!!!!! Ive seen this guy jump for real its not a pretty sight and it defo not 40 foot up. IF THAT PARTICULAR PERSON READS THIS SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!
  3. Little tip, When packing away i always wrap my lines on the paddle and never leave them on your handles and pack them with your kite. The reason for this is when wrapping your lines you can feel them through your finger to see if there's any imperfections, would like to think im jumping then pop. If your lines look in bad shape and you have doubt chance them but if there only stretched then cut them to get them even again.
  4. Thinking of buying my 8 year old a Sting who has NO kiting experience except watching me float through the air. Has anyone else bought one for a small kid and whats your opinion.........i know you not talking a load of money but rather buy something he can fly.
